Donna Reed certainly does deserve to be in the Classic Actress Territory! There is no other Female Actress like her...

So many Films that Donna Reed appeared in were all very memorable due to Miss Reed's Performances!!! For example, in "It's a Wonderful Life" I couldn't imagine any other Film Star playing the Role of 'James Stewart's Wife' better than Donna Reed had portrayed her character "Mary Hatch." She has such a unique screen appearance with her Unmatched Beauty and Charm. And she can be very Sweet Acting, but when she loses her temper (usually for good reason), Watch Out!!!!! One cannot begin to believe how Voice Tress she can become! The fact that she can raise her voice to such a very Loud Volume, is Truly Amazing!!!!! Hearing her talk in her normal sweet voice, it doesn't seem possible that Donna Reed could suddenly sound like she is talking through a Bullhorn! lol. I wonder if she had to practice yelling with a Vocal Coach or was it just in her to do this? In the movie, "From Here To Eternity" when the character of 'Alma Burke' that Donna Reed was portraying in this particular movie, becomes upset with her Boyfriend 'Private Robert E. Lee Pruett' because he wants to go back to fighting in the war, after he had barely recovered from being Critically Injured-- WOW!!!!! What a Powerfully Strong Emotional Performance Donna Reed does GIVE!!!!!! TRULY OUTSTANDING!!!!!! I still hear her Hysterical Piercing Voice from that scene in that Movie to this day!!!!!!!! No wonder why she had Won an Academy Award for that Incredibly Moving Performance!!!!! And I loved her in the movie that she did about three years later entitled, "Ransom" where she had played the role of 'Edith' who was a very distraught mother of a son that had been Kidnapped. Donna Reed was 'Superb' in that movie! Not to mention the movie she had made the year before: which is entitled, "The Far Horizons" where she had played the Very Beautiful and Strong Willed Indian Girl "Sacajawea."

Furthermore, Donna Reed's very Successful TV Series entitled, "The Donna Reed Show" is truly a Classic Sitcom that people still adore to this very day!!!!! Just watching this series gives one the feeling that there getting a never ending Big Hug!!!!!! In watching that Wonderful Series, I never had a doubt in my mind that the 'Donna Stone Character' that she had portrayed, was an extension of her own (Real Life Personality) with the 'Gentle Kindness and Extreme Warmth' that she very generously extends to the many other characters that appeared on that show! If this isn't True, then Donna Reed must be the Greatest Actress this World has Ever Known! Donna Reed may be gone, but she will Never Be Forgotten!!!!!

This machine is great! It has helped many people, I hear the reviews every day in my line of work...i am also the owner of one, i have had my machine for years now and have never encountered a moments problem with it. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional.

Once you veer "off topic" from the product itself (which is amazing) and start in on those personal lives of employees and past bosses...you run the risk of legal battles. This website along with the slander and harrassing accusations (which are untrue) involving staff and personal lives are being investigated at this moment and are also being looked at by a lawyer. If you disagree with the product itself, fine....everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but stick to the product itself. It is not only unfair to utter slander when it is not true, but it is also illegal.

I paid for a laptop online and then went to the store (Livonia MI, Plymouth Rd) to pick it up, got to my car and realized that I had a box full of copy paper. I immediately went back into the store and was treated like I was the thief. Since the store manager (Paul) does not believe me, he stated that no formal investigation would be conducted. I now have to take them to small claims court to get my money back.

I haven't read it (my daughter has and enjoyed it) but now that it has stood the test of time and arrived at the status of Classic Literature, I may give it a go.

Looking to buy a Model 700 in .308 cal. I am not sure that I like any of the stocks available on these rifles so I was going to buy a aftermarket stock. Basically I want to buy the rifle for the action an replace the stock. Was looking at the SPS Varmint... It has the heavy barrel (what I am looking for) and A cheap stock that I can discard of. Was curious if anyone had any other ideas for a good platform that is cheap to build a rifle out of.

Horowitz is the king of piano. Even when he makes a mistake it sounds right. I love these recordings Sony & Carnegie Hall have released.

This is far better than the Jane Austen/zombie pastiche from the same publisher which I have reviewed elsewhere. The key here is that the sea monster scenes blend far more seamlessly with the original Austen prose, and the writing (of the insert scenes) is far better than in "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." If you feel an urge to read one of the literary pastiche/parodies, this is the superior of the two) although it runs a little long for a parody. Essentially, and unfortunately, the bulk of the joke is in the concept itself and the full novel treatment tends to get a little wearing.

I was expecting to hate this, but instead only disliked it. The concept (of adding zombies to a piece of classic literature) has some merit as a parody, but the execution falls far short of potential. Little attempt is made to blend the original Austen text, which is largely intact, with the zombified inserts. Instead, what is presented is a clumsy pastiche, which is neither funny nor enlightening. Avoids one star territory for the originality of concept and the original Austen prose.

This is so clever; My toddler and my oloder child both love to play this "game"!
They feel grown up, and their language is growing so fast! The hand drawn illustrations add soul to this approach, they are so darling!
This was set up by a Speech Pathologist, so the next steps in aquiring language are offered in order.
My kids love it, it works beyond anything I would expect, it keeps them engaged for hours, and it is SO CHEAP! Can't miss with this. Perfection!

I worked with Las Vegas Fox Rent a Car about 6 months ago and really didn't have any complaints about them since I knew I was working with a rental company off the airport strip. Basically I knew what to expect- a late van picking me up, a long ride off the airport, a "used car" lot with a trailer type sales office. Ok, so fine - I still got a working car and everything else went smoothly. However, when I went to reserve my car this time around for 10 days, I got a rate that was $383 for a standard suv. But when I called to let them know I'd have to pick it up a day later, they said my rates would go up even though I'd be using it for less days... So, let me get this straight - I pay more for using it for less days??? So I can't just pick it up the next day and just pay for the 10 days as I had it reserved? It's absurd and the woman on the line didn't seem at all interested in keeping the sale so I decided to just take my business elsewhere. Didn't she think it was silly? For the principal of it all, I'm not going to pay more for less days of car usage. Sorry Fox Rent a Car but you just lost another customer on something so silly. As a business owner, I want to know what the managers are doing? Are they seriously just letting clients disappear over things like this? That's my 2 cents. I officially cancelled my reservation today (2/9/2010) for the Las Vegas Fox Rent a Car.

She could be licking a Polish Sausage for all I care. It's just what that action implies. Especially if she's looking right at you when she's doing it! Let's see...how many licks does it take to get to the middle of a male orgasm? One...two...three...don't...stop...don't...stop...d on't...stop...

You know those film adverts, where a male speaker voice sounds completely fictive and dark, rumbling and growling? Like in adverts for hamburgers or anything other that is supposed to be “manly”? This film is like that voice. There is some good cinematography allowed into this film, but it’s hollow in its entirety: vampires rule Earth, farm humans for blood yet starve. Only a few humans exist. Ethan Hawke plays a hematologist whose brother is gung-ho. Hawke likes humans, his brother doesn’t. Willem Dafoe is part of the human resistance. The vampires are bad. The humans resist. The dialogue makes me think the directors – two brothers – wrote it; let me check; yes, they did. Tempo’s screwed-up. Nothing’s really interesting. Holloooow. Boring. Soundtrack’s Wagner-ish and crappy. All in all: a fairly good-looking vampire-film, but I may be saying that because it sucks (pun intended) in every other aspect. Don’t see it.

I am giving this provider a fat 0 for service. If you give them your debit card as a method of payment you are making a huge mistake. They will not return funds even double charges to your account. If you shut your service off with them they will not return any funds they have overdrafted from your account. They will charge you 2 and 3 times a month for the unlimited plan and their reception sucks in most areas of the large florida city that I live in. They state that once you give them permission to take money out of your account that they can charge you for whatever they like. Yea right its 50 dollars a month for unlimited. Try like anywhere from 50 to 150 a month for the same service!

Review of California Natural Lamb & Rice Large Bites.

Our 3 year old adopted springer/poodle mix, Charlie, started having diarrhea soon after we brought him home. We didn't know if this was an issue before we owned him. His previous owner fed him "whatever was on sale".

I slowly switched him to Wellness brand food which I have had great success with other dogs in the past. This seemed too rich for him, so I slowly switched to Wellness Simple. Still too rich. We also tried weeks of medicine through the vet which helped a little but not much. Plus, we did some testing for worms and other possible stomach "bugs". Through all this trial and error, Charlie seemed fine except for the diarrhea. I'm not sure if he really even noticed a problem!

We finally switched him to Hill's prescription i/d food which worked at once. I was happy with the result but am, personally, not a fan of Hill's brand food and wanted to feed Charlie something more natural and "real", for lack of a better word. I decided to give CN a try to see if it would work.

It just so happened that this was around the holidays and my organization was not at its peak. The vet was closed and I couldn't get more of the i/d food. Unfortunately, instead of switching him gently from the i/d food to California Natural, I pretty much had to switch directly from one to the other with only a day of integration.

It turns out that it wasn't a problem at all! He took to it really well. I was so happy I could cry. He has now been on it for 2 months and loves it. I have also noticed less scratching and licking but can't say for sure that the food is the reason for that. He loves the dry food, the treats and the wet food that I stuff his Kong with! He is an active dog that loves to run and play outside and this food seems to keep up with his energy. I would definitely recommend this food to anyone having digestive issues with their dog.

I had an account with Littman Jewelers and everytime you mail in a payment of make an payment online they try to charge a late fee. I had my confirmation number from the online payments and was charged a late fee because the company claimed that they did not receive the payment, mayber their system was down. I had the confirmation information printed out, and they had informed me that the late fee would be taken off of my next bill, but it was not. It' best to pay your monthly payments at the retail stores rather than thru the mail or online. I will close this account ASAP and I do not recommend anyone getting a card through this company just pay with cash or any other card that you may have. And when you try to pay over the phone there is a $14.00 fee if you're paying with a check. When trying to pay with a debit card through Littman's Reps. they claim the system is down to make debit payments but the system is up to make a check payment over the phone, which will cost you an add'l $14.

Achilles to Briseis: “I will tell you a secret- something they don’t teach you in your temple. The gods envy us. They envy us because we’re mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now, and we will never be here again.”

Obviously, I have not seen every movie produced in the last 30 years, but this one has to be among the best of the best.
Some scholars believe the Iliad and the Odyssey to be the first-ever anti-war message, and that conclusion has validity.
If there are any legitimate knocks on this movie, one could say that it was historically inaccurate or that literary license was taken to alter the original story. For example, it is believed that the Trojan War lasted approximately ten years. The movie portrays it as lasting a matter of weeks. Further, in the original text, King Menelaus did not die at Troy. These are small matters however, when contrasted with the story within the story and the sheer brilliance of this production.
First of all, the directing, cinematography special effects, and acting are (combined) as good as any movie I have ever seen. Peter O’Toole again shows why he is among the best ever. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana give genius performances, as do the supporting cast members- particularly Sean Bean as Odysseus.
The writer and director did a particularly good job here in using contrast…there is the selfish love of Paris and Helen, the selfless love of Achilles and Briseis. Then there is the contrast between Hector, a tolerant warrior who, beneath his armor is a prince of peace, and Achilles, a killing machine who fights for rage and glory.
Since “Troy” came out nearly seven years ago, it is safe to assume that any and all with a desire to watch it have done so; but I can say this, you do yourself no favors by passing this one up.
