This is the first game app I paid for and I did it because the lite version sucked me in. The full version is $0.99 so I decided to get it.

The basics of the game is that you have a tower to protect using your warriors you send to the battle field to fight against the bad (they are bad and ugly) warriors that come from the enemy's tower. You pass a level when your warriors reach the enemy's tower and destroy it. And that 's it, level after level, nothing changes (only the ugly guys, they are more difficult to kill)

When you play a couple of times, the game becomes boring and repetitive, and the only incentive is to upgrade your warriors using the gold that you receive when killing the ugly guys.

After playing 3 times (for long periods) I am starting to hate the game. When I played the first time I loved it so that is why I am giving it 3 stars.

I'm not sure if reaching more levels the game will change or improve, I will let you know if I have free time to play this app again.

Copying Lena, I am adding a video of the game:

Well, what can I say? The Motorola DROID is such an awesome phone - so awesome, that it took me away from being here on RATEITALL.com because I was so busy enjoying it.

As I could hear my mother's voice as a child say "A phone is not a toy," I had to laugh as I continued playing with my new phone all giddy with glee.

The Motorola DROID kicks the crap outta the iPhone and actually has the backing of the Verizon network - so after you're all done playing with the lightsaber, the 'mood ring-esque' touch reader, lots of music, videos, movies, your fortune cookie for the day and using all the coupons, guess what? You can actually make a phone call, check your email and do everything you want to do! What a concept! (Take that AT&T!) Unlike what AT&T says, you can actually talk on the phone and surf the web at the same time! What a multi-tasker!

What's nice about the Motorola DROID is that it features the best of both worlds for texters - the slide-out keyboard (for those who are addicted to their LG EnV2 phones. It has a touch screen for all the iPhone converts and is combines the functionality of a Blackberry (business) and iPhone (toy/fun) all-in-one.

You know -if this phone were hair, it would be a MULLET - business in the front, party in the back.

This phone has 16 gigs memory - and has a 5 megapixel camera. It shoots video, it can scan your gym or grocery membership barcode cards and so much more. It has a navigator (that doesn't cost extra) - voice activated (you can feel like James Bond!)

And at the end of the day, with all the business and play, you can actually talk to someone... pretty amazing!!

Hook Champ is a charmingly low-res platformer iPhone game where you use a grappling hook to navigate dank, dark caves collecting coins and saving pixelated relics. The relics have been cursed, and so as you swing around each level, you're followed by a black blobby creature that rawrs (it's really more of a rawr than a roar) and eventually eats you if you go too slowly.

The coins allow you to buy powerups and weapons...which come in handy as the levels get pretty damn hard after a while.

Gameplay is incredibly satisfying, and the NUI was well thought out. Controls are simple and intuitive, and the game is a lot of fun. My one complaint is that they play quick intro sequences each and every time you retry a level....It would be better if they skipped the few text blocks if you've played the level before.

Regardless of that minor complaint, this is one of the best games I've found on the iPhone yet! Major props to the developer for creating a fun and innovative game.

Here's the trailer so you can get a taste of the quirky, low-res graphics and the blobby monster :)

Sounds interesting but I'm working on one that should out do it. You pick an entry from your contact list, their face pops up on the screen, you touch the screen and the bell at the church they attend rings out, wherever it is. I'm gonna call it 'Face Rings a Bell'.

Learn that Name! is an app that tries to help you to place a name with a face. It sucks in your LinkedIn contacts and quizzes you on the faces and employers of people in your network.

It's fun. For about five minutes.

What I've found is that I either know the person in my network, or I don't. There are just not so many hazy in betweens that this app can help with.
