Hillary is a very powerful women. I have actually met her. She is headstrong, extremely jealous, possessive, stubborn, and vengeful. Don't get on her bad side or heads will roll (and maybe fall).

Well here we are in June, so I can only speak of what I see and have seen so far. Let's review:We had a president for eight years who was the leader of the "Less Government!" GOP Party that factually created more government than any president in US History. We had a vietnam vet' run for president in 2004 who refused to fight and play hard politics, and in trying to be "above it all" lost the election to an unpopular (factually by the numbers) president at the time.We now have a president who is allowing money to be invested into the car industry and its foundations, not realizing that if we had given all that money to each household, we could have paid our mortgages, our car notes, and generally helped the economy from the ground up. Now these auto plants are producing cars with all that stimulus money for what? Americans who don't have enough money to buy them? That's one of the worst investments in US History. We now have a president that took several days to react to the gaming tactics of China. We went from "The Decider" to "The Undecided."We had a candidate running for President who gave the authority to use force in Iraq as a last resort, and gave a Senate floor speech on why she voted that way, and what her reasons were, and how it was not to be used to start pre-emptive war. That candidate is damned for that vote as it is spun into an "invasion vote" when it was an authority vote. That candidate would also have been damned as "anti American" and "unpatriotic" had she voted against the president. We had a democratic candidate in 2008 who gave speeches for real change on human rights in China against a communist regime, staring communism dead in the face. We have a current president who gives a lot of generalized speeches to Americans, including the importance of eating vegetables. We had a candidate in 2008 who began the fight for real health care change back in the early 1990's...faced opposition, and made a mark on the issue... Now we have a president who ran an -entire campaign- on change and won't even stand up against health insurance companies to get single payer to the table. We had a candidate in 2008 that could get virtually any world leader to hear her by picking up a telephone because she knows just about everyone... Now we have a candidate that has to tour the world more than Madonna to be heard to negotiate. We had a candidate that spoke out against the Iraq war and GW Bush and damned another candidate for her vote on AUTHORITY for use of war, while at the same time that candidate ran on change--he sided with GW Bush on many Iraq policies post 2003, meanwhile Madame candidate fought GW Bush's with every legislative opportunity available. We had a candidate who went face to face with bill oreilly and explained her full positions on taxes and the middle class. Now we have a president who still cannot figure out what to do with finance, bailouts and taxes...instead, all the money is going to banks and corporations--the very people that helped to SCREW UP the economy in the first place.Change you can believe in?I don't.What we need is EXPERIENCE YOU CAN VERIFY.Even a mistake or two on the record is certainly better than voting in someone with very little record and now you get to take the ride with that candidate watching them make mistakes and find their way. No offense to the supporters of any candidate, but those are my honest thoughts. I have nothing personal against President Obama---However, it is my view that he is politically extremely young to be the leader of the free world with consideration to the points I have mentioned. And I'm a registered democrat. Now you have to honestly ask yourself one question...Would Hillary Clinton have made an excellent president?I think you know the answer to that question. Thanks for reading.---Mathew

Hillary has my vote. She's already run the White House, no problem running it again.
Lucidd11 05/28/2009
Politically, she's has a better foundation to perform the duties of a president than her husband. However, the fact that she's willing to roll over on the fact that he was cheating on her for the public view makes me wonder about her morals and ethics. Not that any of that is a condition required of our leader in this day and age.....sadly!
julioshs 05/25/2009
Yeah, I'm not into the whole woman for President. Sorry, I admit that I'm a bit sexist.

I think she would've made a better president than her husband. But between her and Obama, I hava more confidence in Obama.

I believe it was a time for change, either a race or sex change (no pun intened ;) ) for this country's leadership. We needed new ideas, a new outlook, and to change the vision of the American people. As a woman, I would have liked to see a woman in office, however, the american people felt that this wasn't the right time for her idealism or policies. Obama came with a plan for change, that has shook this nation in the past 2 months. It seems promising, we're all scared, but thats what happens when we make a change.

Everyone on RIA probably knows that I am not very politically-minded. Many are the politicians (be it Democrat, Republican, or whatever) who just don't cut the mustard when it comes to the way things should be run in the country. However, she is a very intelligent lady who I believe would have made a pretty good President. Of course, she has her flaws, but hey, everyone does!

1-star, but if it came down to a choice between anarchy and socialism within 6 months that the country faces, and her -- I'd have voted for her in a heartbeat.
