I've been using this for years with great success. Unfortunately, it appears as if it is no longer available here on Maui. Tried Walmart, Costco, Longs, etc.

This is also another one of those products that will not be shipped to Hawaii. Amazon says, "only the 48 contiguous states".

Simply a great product. Previously I had been using Equate Brand Sterile Saline Solution from WalMart in the Aerosol propellant bottle, until they took it off their shelves a couple months ago.

This product is exactly the same, except without the propellant. It dispenses the same way as your average contact lens solution, and is great for sensitive eyes. I use this to rinse my lenses before putting them on every morning (after soaking overnight in a regular CL solution such as OptiFree Express). Anyone who still uses the saline from the Aerosol cans should definitely consider this product, especially because the cans are becoming harder and harder to find at a reasonable price.

Unisol 4 is what I MUST use! It is the BEST product for my Scleral Lenses. These lens, if you are not familiar with them, are much larger than the normal contact lens in that they cover the entire eye. They are for people who have damaged corneas & severe dry eye syndrome. I use the Unisol 4 in several steps of cleansing my lenses and then filling them twice a day before inserting them into my eyes! The Unisol 4 is used as my tears since I do not make my own.
My only plea to the Alcon company is that they make Unisol 4 available in 3oz containers so when we have to fly it won't be taken from us. Those of us who wear Scleral Lenses must keep Unisol 4 with us incase a flight is delayed, cancelled, is a very long flight or whatever cirmstances arise that we would have to take the lens out and then reinsert them. We MUST have the Unisol 4 at that time and it MUST be sterile. If the original container has been opened then the Unisol 4 MUST be kept refrigerated or on ice. I hope Alcon will do this for those who must fly. It is a GREAT product!

I have chronic allergies and the preservatives in regular saline/cleaner exacerbated the irritation from lens deposits.

Before I discovered Unisol, contacts = misery and chronic red eye. I now clean my lenses in Clear Care and rinse them (even new ones) in Unisol before insertion. My disposables now last 2-3 weeks vs barely 10 days before. I also have no more than a thin line of redness at the end of the day.
