I'm not much of a pie eater, but every Thanksgiving, if there is a pumpkin pie, I will take a piece with a dollop of Cool Whip.

double - layer pumpkin pie is better - it has a cheesecake like layer on bottom

Ok, so what is a thanksgiving feast without the pumpkin pie?

Never saw the big deal. I enjoy pumpkin pie shakes from Jack in The Box. Now those are GOOD!! Never was a pie fan.

I always liked pumpkin pie. I used to grow pumpkins to make lots of pies, but none of my ex-wives was ambitious enough to learn how to make them.

As far as im concerned you cant beat a pumpkin pie for dessert. Its my favorite kind of pie!

Most of the time I'd rather have some sort of fruit pie (peach, blackberry, cherry, etc.), but I do want my pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving. But there has to be cool whip.

I especially like the pumkin custard pie.We eat them at thanksgiving and christmas.that's the only two times I have it,I guess that's what makes it so good and special.

Pumpkin Pie is good, but pecan, sweet potato, bean or coconut custard pies are even better!

I never liked the taste of Pumpkin pie so I make two or three pies each year. Always have 1 pumpkin, 1 apple and 1 whatever someone chooses. I also make Plum Betty which is something like pie. Everyone loves it.

Might be the odd one out again, but I don't like pumpkin pie and never have. To make up for that, my family usually sets aside a blueberry pie just for me (and the other odd guests haha)

pumpkin pie seems to be one of the pies for ThanksgivingI like this kind of pie even though it is not my favorite we still bake one. a frozen one in my case. add some whipped cream and it is a nice desert for this day.

With Cool Whip, of course. UPDATE: What little troll has a problem with Cool Whip on my pumpkin pie or any of the other things the little ingrate has marked unhelpful in the past two minutes? Fortunately there is a bug in the system that makes the unhelpful go away when I re-post this! Ha!

In honor of the Pilgrims is the reason we eat pumpkin pie. We must also keep the vast, conspiratorial pumpkin trust in business!

Technically, not as good as pecan pie, but more traditional. Ok, you can have a half slice of pecan, too.

Pumpking pie is a great dessert, and a necessary tradition at every Thanksgiving meal.

I LOVE pumpkin pie. Can't get enough. I made little tiny double-layered pumpkin pies this year (no cooking needed, which is essential if I'm to make anything edible), great stuff; based on this recipie: http://pie.allrecipes.com//az/DoubleLayerPumpkinPie .asp. Good stuff, I promise!

I love pumpkin pie, especially if it's homemade. I just make these whenever. I don't just limit it to Thanksgiving.

For some reason, I can't stand pumpkin pie. The texture is slimy to me and I'm not a big fan of nutmeg, either. Like Garrison Keillor said, The best piece of pumpkin pie you've ever had isn't much better than the worst piece.

LOVE pumpkin pie. I miss my mom's homemade ones, and wish I had the recipe. Too good to just be seasonal.
