Only certain things work boiled, like some vegetables. But when it comes to meat and eggs (especially eggs!), no thanks. I don't do snot and slime!

I think that this is acceptable for eggs, potatoes, and certain other types of vegetables. However, when I'm cooking vegetables, I never boil them for too long. As some have stated, it does take a lot of the vitamins and nutrients out of them. And boiling meat is not exactly something that tickles my taste buds.

I like boiled chicken, potatoes and other vegatables. But that's about it.

Usually takes most of the taste.. and all of the vitamins out of anything. I have to admit that Irish boiled dinners made with ham are pretty tasty, however.
