Some people prefer Target because it's the "trendier" store. I, however, am "no-frills", so I go for Walmart. Hey, not everything there is junk. I find it hard to knock Wally World.... except for the fact that their restrooms could stand some work.

I like Woolworth's 5 and 10 Cents Stores.

I've only shopped at Target maybe five times that I can think of. I have shopped at Walmart for quite a long time now, and don't have any plans of changing any time too soon. Walmart is very convenient for me. It's about a mile away from me. As long as I'm satisfied, I'll take convenience anytime. But sometimes Walmart don't have what I'm looking for, so I will go somewhere else in that case. Plus, I like to shop for bargains.I know there are people out there that do not like Walmart and think it's low class. But that's a matter of opinion.

I prefer Target, especially Super Target. Both Target and Walmart have affordable products, but Target gets my vote because the lines seem to be more breezy. I know people probably think your supporting a big corporation by shopping at one of them but those same people wear name brand clothing and drive name brand cars.

How about neither. But I'll give a nod to Target just for not being Walmart.

Now come on guys...if you're a redneck how much fun would it be to go out to the steak house (all you can eat buffet) on a Friday night, then got to TARGET and beat the hell out of your kids? That's what Wal-Mart is for.

Dumb me; I look at things in a rather simplistic way. Target also sells stuff that is made in China. How does that fact make Target stuff better than Wal Mart?Anyway, Wal Mart has that new Bruce Lee clothing line, how can you not dig that?

I personally like to remind Target lovers that it's just another business, and if they could have the kind of control that Wal-Mart has on the shopping in an area, they'd take it in an instant. Target is a Wal-Mart wannnabe that knows it can't compete with the overall low prices and selection of Wal-Mart, so instead they stock their stores with more trendy and slightly more expensive crap. Target fans seem to think that Target has a conscience, while Wal-Mart doesn't. I'm not buying that for one instant. They're both large corporations, and they want your money, period. If I'm going to one of these stores, I'll go for the one that generally has the lower prices on the basic stuff. I go to Wal-Mart for stuff like shampoo, soap, cheap clothes, CDs (although their selection isn't as good since iTunes got big), and various other odds and ends. When it comes to groceries, I never buy food at Target, because their prices are too high. I rarely buy food at Wal-Mart, but I have on occasion. I'll go with Wal-Mart over Target anyday.

Not much of a choice- but I'll run with Target any day of the week. When traveling, it's a great "I need this" store. . .shampoo, a DVD, boxers, and an extension cord. . .it's great for stuff like that. Wal-marts are shite beyond belief and are only used as a last resort.Target's also scores points for being a solid "First apartment after college store" - average-to-low quality at low prices but much of it is better quality than Wal-Mush.

Easy, I don't like either.

But... Target has exclusive Star Wars toys sometimes.

Target sucks. The only people I hear that shop their mostly are women. Only because "Target has better clothes". I guess? Me personally I like to get my oil changed while Im shopping for food and electronics, so Walmart it is.
