Well...personally i find republians to be non progressive...Ted fits the bill! His hunting only proves ho how simple minded this caveman really is! By the way I use to enjoy some of his music..until I heard him speak!

Nothing against his love of firearms. However when ever he opens his mouth I am suddenly in the mood to go Nugent hunting.

Nugent can be abnoxious, but for me it tends to be in a harmless and amusing way. So the Nuge likes guns. So do I.

His approach to political advocacy is not dissimilar to his approach to rock 'n roll, loud simple and repetitive.

I seen him as a guest on the Howard Stern E! show once, and Howard asked him if he killed cats before. Ted laughed, and said yes. I later thought it was funny seeing a cat in Ted's living room on the "Surviving Nugent" tv show! I against killing cats, but i think Ted Nugent is great otherwise because he is the middle finger to PETA.

He is not cramming any points down anyone's throat. Probably because no one is givng him the air time to do it.

Once his "shock" schtick wears off, you realize there isn't much there.

Yeah he is. Gotta admit it. But I like the guy. I relate to him on many levels.
GenghisTheHun 10/25/2005
He is on the right side of the angels on the guns and hunting issues, but he is obnoxious.

One of the biggest assholes I have ever seen. I would like to try hunting- but this bozo makes me think twice. Funny how those that cry 'values' the most are the ones with the most divorces and see their kids every-other-weekend. . .

I agree with everyone.
Djahuti 10/19/2005
This one is all-ego.I advocate hunting and the right to bear arms myself, but this guy goes WAY overboard-PLUS he is extremely demeaning to women.

one of my favorite concerts of all time when i saw him in the late 70's, my ears were ringing for 4 days. thank god someone is standing up for our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. i have a gun permit, perhaps you know it as the second amendment.

Totally obnoxious. First all he wasn't and isn't that talented of a singer/musician. I have nothing against hunting but this man's giddiness over it is almost scary and annoying.

This tool really bothers me. I mean, it's easy enough to ignore him in my everyday life because he's not exactly a major celebrity, but the few times I am forced to confront his reactionary comments on everything I can't help but be glad I don't know, or live near, anyone like him. I mean, he enjoys hunting and killing. Which is OK because a lot of men (and women) do enjoy hunting and killing, but Ted REALLY enjoys it. He has a book out now that consists entirely of anecdotes about a whole bunch of animals he's killed, and butchered, and later consumed. I personally don't think people like the Motor City Madman ought to be allowed to possess firearms. I suppose he hasn't actually killed anyone yet, even if every story he tells involves him nearly having to teach some punk a lesson in being shot with a deer rifle. It's a good thing he doesn't drink, though, I'll say that much for him. Drunkenness and high-powered rifles are a bad mix.

Kill it and grill it. You can't deny a gut pile. We don't just cook - we dance naked around the primordial campfire of life.
LadyShark4534 09/01/2003
Please, Mr. Nugent, Just shut up!
CastleBee 08/20/2003
I think he's a spaz. Hyper-active, knee-jerk psychos should not be allowed to own firearms and shoot defenseless woodland creatures. How frightening is it that they usually seem to be the only ones who really get into it.
Tinasan 07/31/2003
His oh-so pro hunting and killing animals views are really irritating. Mr. Nugent, No one cares about your insipid juvenile crybaby piss-and-moan attitude. Your fifteen minutes of fame are up!
