I have been smoking Parliament Menthol Full Flavor for about a year now and decided to pick up a pack of Marlboro Lights just to see what all the hype was about. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was when I smoked the first one out of the pack. I was craving my morning nicotine fix and what did I get?! Air. That's it. At first, I thought it wasn't lit properly, so I relit. Still nothing. The amount of smoke that I exhaled was so minimal that I barely even saw it. I was taking DEEP drags, and still no buzz. They just feel like air mixed with a little bit of smoke and they don't taste like anything. I wound up going through this pack in half the time because I had to smoke 2 at a time to feel something!! Switching back to Parlies... Don't go for this shit.

I have smoked Marlboro Lights for many years and loved them.. Got a cartoon of my favorite cigs last week and they taste like chit. Taste like the last of the last tobacco they sweept up off the floor. They go out to easy..If I wanted to smoke a cigar then I would have bought one.

I've been a smoker of Marlboro Light 100's for about 15 years, and up until this past month started wondering what was different about the only cigarette that I enjoyed. Just recently, I noticed that my cigarettes were going out at least 5 times before I could smoke it. Thought it was a figment of my imagination, but it was happening to every cigarette I lit. I happened to mention this to other family members that smoke the same brand, because they, too, have been loyal to the brand for many years as well. It wasn't till I just decided to google "Marlboro Light 100's formula change" that I discovered the FCC Regulation for Safe Lit Cigarettes and hundreds of complaints about the change. This is the last straw for me, the taste is driving me to finally quit!

Not much to say about marlboro lights, i really dont like them. The taste is terrible, there really not that strong and way too conformist. I dont understand how so many people smoke these, its like smoking a combination of a newspaper and chemicals. There are a few marlboro brands i do like but marlboro lights is NOT one of them. i guess you could say ive turned into more of a camel smoker because i think they make a superior product. 2.5/5

this was the cigarette that everyone in my high school started out on. i smoked them too, but as i got older, they lacked the "nic kick" i was looking for.

My first cigarette the one that started my great addiction. A mild buzz with a pretty good taste.

These were my first cigs. They have a nice nutty smell and flavor, but can sometimes leave an aftertaste that you dont want. They are pretty smooth and are not that harsh on your throat. =)_~~~

Give something with more balls. American spirits, unfiltered camels, and lucky strikes are a better choices in my opinion. Then again I just love nicotine.

Ok cigarette with a good buzz. Somewhat bland and do leave a sour taste. I switched to Camel Turkish Gold and i'm never going back. They are very similar but have a really nice nutty flavor.

These were my first and my favorite for a long time. I've since switched brands, but every now and again when I'm in the mood I'll buy a pack for old time sakes. My only problem with them is that they seem to be very hit or miss anymore. One pack will be as smooth and flavorful as I remembered, and then another pack will be harsh and burn my throat. But maybe that's just me.

all time favorite! best time to have em is after sex,a big meal,or a longgg road trip. smoothe, and not too strong.

My friend gave me one of these and it was like I was smoking nothing. All I got was the usual marb taste but lighter and no buzz. I prefer heavier cigarettes I guess.

Just tried the Ultra Lights, and those are slightly better. Fairly smooth, very light flavor, okay buzz, but I still wouldn't recommend them. They burn very fast, would recommend the 100's.

Marlboro is BURNING FASTER by far and I am not nuts. I hate admitting I even smoke, but man, I am spending $80 a week now and it was bad enough paying $40 a week for the smoking habit. So I find I am not chain smoking per se-each Marlboro cig burns so fast I light a second one [every time] without thinking about it-to get the min nicotine in my blood stream. THAT WAS THEIR PLAN MAN!!!

They know more about us than we know about our own selves! I really want to quit now that it has come to flat out extortion. They have to help people stop smoking on one hand-so they devised ways to make the remaining fools [us] smoke twice as much! And we do not realize we are until the toll is matching our electric bill!!!!!

I am so mad I pray I can stop smoking. I know it is not lasting 4-5 minutes. It is lasting maybe 2 1/2 minutes and THEY know it too!
I heaerd Chantix works and is like $120 amonth-you take the pill and smoke all you want. After a few weeks you just won't want to smoke-it will be disgusting. So if I am paying $80 a week to RJ Reyolds, I better budget the $120 for Chantix and MAYBE some nic patches-that worked great for long plane flights.

Marbloro lights , especially the one on soft pack.

Something is going on with these cigarettes the past two weeks. They burn out about half way through the smoke. The quality of the paper has sure changed and is very frustrating when you spend over five dollars a pack and get such poor quality. I have purchased them from Texas, Arkansas and Missouri these last 2 weeks and they are all defective.

Marlboro Lights all the way. I like the mellowness of them and the way they taste with coffee or after a huge meal. I have decided to make this my smoke for 2009.

My husband smokes these and the last week or two from buying them at Sa in St. Paul Park, they won't light, if you don't drag on it all the time they burn out..great, thanks. $5 a pack

These are very overrated.  I used to smoke them just because a lot of other people did... RJ Reynolds makes a superior product.

My first cigarette was a Marb Light 100. Ah the memories. For a while, I only smoked those cuz I'd bum them from my neighbors. Occasionally, if I run out, my neighbor'll still give me one or two. I enjoy them, long lasting, not too strong like most Marb smokes, and very good flavor. Although they're not the kind of cigarette to smoke down really fast. But I enjoy them nonetheless. However, Camel still has my heart. and my lungs.

Great tasting Cigarette lasts longer then the average Cigarettes but needs to be a bit stronger in the Nicotine side to bring out that strong Tobacoo smell.

oh my god fucking lights suck. ill smoke them if i really have to but honestly id give away a pack for like 3 bucks. they are wayyyyy to weak and they dont leave me smelling like ciggs, which oddly i love.

decent amount of nicotine kick. ok flavor. give u a  buzz and can really satisfy. if they have been out  for more than a day they get stale and are harsh o n your throat if you are not used to smoking and ma y leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Buzz worthy cigs that get you out of a slump.  I mean they were my cigs of choice for 3 years now.  I smoked cartons of these on the island I was at.  I started in grad school.  This brought me into smoking regularity so if you don't want to be addicted, don't smoke these.  The buzz gets you coming back, but they are good with the coffee.  Very nostalgic.  My choice of smokes because I had them through all good and bad times.  I passed exams not studying much as long as I could smoke these to focus better, all nighter, no sleeping and studied well to retain as much info in my hardest subjects.  Also didn't binge for snacks at those times and was still able to focus.  Good for the serious student that has test anxiety.

I can see why everyone says they taste bad.....

BUT these ciggs are probbably the heaviest ciggs I've smoked, they give me a huge buzz, I don't know why but I prefer these over the Reds. They are harsh and they leave an icky taste in your mouth, if your looking for good flavor go for Camel, if your looking to get lightheaded and buzzed smoke these or the Reds.

I switched to Marlboro Lights 100's about 15 years ago. My two daughters and son also smoke Light 100's. In my opinion they are one of the best cigarettes available. We tried switching to Marlboro 100's to cut down to a pack a day but the taste just wasn't as good as Light 100's.

I am a very casual smoker (3-5 cigs per day).  I really enjoy Marlboro Lights, no bitter after taste or anything.

My favorite ciggs. They are very smooth. Usually before i smoked these i preffered Newport or Kool but Marlboro Lights are perfect on my throat. Also try Marlboro 72's. They make Marlboro 72's Regulars, Lights, Menthal, and Menthal Milds so far (Reds, Golds, Green, and Blue) Marlboro Lights are great but if you like Marlboro Lights try Marlboro Lights 72's they are the same size just a shorter filter which makes it have a smaller package but more creative design.

I can understand why these cigarettes are one of the most purchased in the US. They have a crisp and smooth taste to them. They are relativly cheap as well.

Not as strong as the Reds, but the same great flavor presents itself in these quality light cigarettes.Smoke with style,smoke with ease,smoke Marlboro lights.

These are quite decent smokes. A very definite hit to your throat for those that like that. At first, these tasted bad for me. But I gotta say, they are definitely worth a try. If you're usually a light smoker, I would start off with the extra lights for these. They're quite strong for lights. For example, a regular Du Maurier (terrible smokes btw) is about 3x weaker than the Marlboro Lights. It's quite flavourful. But remember, smoking is a pleasure, at least for me. Don't overdulge yourself into cancer now.

i smoked lights for a few months and realized i needed something different..plain taste and marlboro just doesnt have that great of products...i switched to camel turkish silvers and let me tell you..if you do the same you will be sold

One of the worst I've ever tried, not smooth at all which is strange for a light. The aftertaste isn't enjoyable at all, even the smell isn't any good. If you're looking around for a light cigarette, check out some different camels, the no. 9's are pretty good.
