i've gotten work done at a couple different blue byrd shops by a couple different artists who've worked there over the years. i recently just got my chest worked on by JESSIE VILLARS at the middletown store and absolutely loved it. she did great work and everyone's commented on how great it looks. definitely referring her to my friends in search of artists in dayton.

Everytime I go to blue byrd i get tattooed by matty b. Hes always nice and always does a great job!

Matt Burchett did a straight burner on my arm. he's da man to go to!

I recently had my thigh tattooed by Matt B and it was wonderful. His light hand and artistic skills left me leaving very happy and satisfied!

I got my foot tattooed by matty b and I absolutely love it!! He was super cool and way nice. I'll definitely tell all my friends to go to him!

Kevin Byers is the tits! Best traditional artist around.

So I always go to Blue Byrd. The guys there are really great at what they do and if you ever need a badass tattoo, Matty B is the way to go. He's done my chest, my back, and currently is working on my sleeve. I wouldn't trust anyone else! Go in and get some ink!

When I got my first tattoo, everyone at the shop was really nice to me and made me less nervous. Kevin did my first tattoo, and he did so well that I went back to him for my second one. I am a loyal customer, so I will definately not look anywhere else for tattoos. Kevin is great.

Matty B is working on my sleeve, he is the best artiest I have been to by far. He takes your ideas and fixes them until they are perfect;. I tell anyone who wants a good quality tattoo to go to him. Blue Byrd is definitely a great shop.

i just had lettering done on my wrist by Matt B that works there. I'll definitely be going back to him and referring everyone i know. He was extremely friendly, approachable and professional. He was open to all my ideas and changed every little detail until I liked it. I would 100% recommend him and Blue Byrd to everyone.

I would agree with Nick. Every time I have been to Blue Byrd it has been very clean and comfortable. People are relaxed and friendly. I have had work done there but never by the owner, however, he has done my friend’s art for years and it never fails to impress me!

I've had the pleasure of being a client of Blue Byrd for over 5 years now. i'm not trying to be a "mark" for Blue Byrd but EVERY time i have ever had a concept for a piece of art that id like to wear on myself for the rest of my life i know i can rely on dave and his team of artist to meet and exceed my ideas on the artwork in question. aside from the great work, all three of the locations are very clean. every time i've been to any one of the locations there is always someone there cleaning, sterilizing, or generally working on keeping up the shop.
you can take your pick when it comes to tattoo shops. and depending on what kind of work you want there are other shops that may be better suited for your ideas than blue byrd. i've done my homework. you should too. Blue Byrd is my choice.

Do not go to Blue Byrd tattoos and have anything done by KEVIN. He is unprofessional, untrustworthy, rude, and a lazy jerk. He lost my design, lied about having it sketched, and made me feel very uncomfortable.

I am confident in my work, not arrougant. Our staff is kept as organized a any group of eccentric artist can be and they are all my friends I take more crap than I give, I can tell you that!

& I never say that I am the best tattoo artist. I love some of the work being done in Dayton. This town has really put its best foot forward with regards to design.

I have never met a person that is so into himself as the owner of Blue Byrd Tattoos. What an ASS! Talks down to his employees and very abrasive with customers. He claims he is the best around. I let draw a tat on me before doing the real thing. It SUCKED! I would never recommend him.
