It's not that strange considering that plenty of adults out there eat insects. The bugs are usually cooked unless they're a contestant on Fear Factor.

When I was very little,I was a picky eater. My Mom bought this book about a picky ant-eater who would only eat black ants.In the end,he tries the red ants and finds that he likes them-the goal of the book apparently was to get kids to try new foods. She read me the book.I ate red ants.

There were days when the outside playground was like a bad episode of "Fear Factor". This one kid in my class ate a worm once and nearly threw up. I don't think he's ever lived down that experience . . .

My cousin and I used to eat moths.... Not bad, they had a buttery flavor to them - When my parents found out they grounded me and made me go to church - It doesn't take much to drive Southern Baptists into a frenzy...

Disgusting, but there was always one kid that would do it.

High in protein but rather lacking in flavor. . .try mixing bugs with other items on this list. . .
