It works for me to an extent. After I take it for the first few days, I always feel like the cold is at the ready, waiting for another shot. So, it works but it doesn't seem to do much for the persistent cold that I get.

That "cold at the ready" feeling is what I get too, if I don't keep taking it. I never tried taking it at the intervals recommended, just a few times a day when I remember. The cold always subsides. If I feel so much better I forget to keep taking it for a couple of days (which happens often) I start to feel that tickle again. More zicam, and trying to remember to take it once or twice after I feel good makes it disappear again. So the real problem for me is Zicam works so good, I forget to keep taking it. Guess I'll keep buying it and tie a string around my finger.
