I wasn't aware that we won the first Iraq war. We left it unfinished.... It is still unfinished...

I served on an aircraft carrier. It is the fastest was to project REAL power to an area in a time of crisis. It is the proverbial "Big Stick" for any form of diplomacy. I just wish that today's carriers (ours) had a real fighter onboard them. More and more countries are building "real" carriers. In 30 years we may not have the monopoly on them.

Just neck up the .223 round to a 6mm or 6.5mm bullet. It would work great.

A quality made AK-47 is not an inaccurate gun. Many are capable of 3-4" groups at 100 yards which is great when one considers those nasty sights. That being said, the number of quality AK's are very few. Most are of lesser quality and depending on the amount of usage it has seen could very well shoot MOB. (Minute Of Barn) Yes they are reliable, but they carry a stigma most of us don't want to be associated with. Since the "Obama rush" on assault weapons has made such weapons scarce the price for a decent one has gone WAY up. For the price on would pay for today's AK it would be to your benefit to buy a new rifle of another make.

A good battle rifle that needs to be kept as clean as possible. (A good practice for ANY battle rifle regardless of who makes it.) I have never liked the .22 caliber ammo it uses. I always felt that if the .223 ammo had been necked up to at least 6mm it would have made a better rifle. Just my opinion.

A very good tank. However, most modern tanks today carry guns of similar caliber and most of today's modern tanks use reactive armor. The M1A2 Abrams has proven to be a well built machine. Although it has performed well on the battlefield it has not faced an enemy of the same class. Most experts agree that the new tanks from Germany and Japan have a slight edge over the Abrams but in a fight much depends on their overall leadership, crew training and terrain.

Some of these answers are insane. Its a total piece of shit the only thing it has in reliability. A HK 416/417, g36, steyr aug are reliable and about 4 to 5 times as accurate. Not to mention I don't think you can hit anything twice before it moves out of the way with an AK. This rifle was made for mass, expedient production. Just because you can sell 200000 geo metros for 10 bucks a pop doesn't mean anyone wants one. Same with the AK yea i can buy a case for a goat and some shitty opium but when it comes down to it do i want to achieve 30 out of 30 kills or 1 or 2 out of 50 with an AK?
