Allan Lane is best known as the voice of Mister ED. Between 1940-1966, Lane made eighty-two film appearances, mostly in westerns.

Between 1947-1953, he made over 30 B-Movie westerns (as "Rocky" Lane). He was born in Mishawaka, Indiana. He grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is said to have studied at Notre Dame University.

Sadly, MR. Lane died on October 27, 1973 at the age of 64. He died just three years after the horse that he provided the voice for died. Allan Lane is buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California. He was without doubt, a great actor.

Slim is one of my favorite character actors who could do drama equally well as comedy.

Here are a couple of my favorite scenes

Slim Pickens was a great actor. He starred in 2 or 3 episodes of Bonanza. I enjoyed his performance in the Apple Dumpling Gang. He also provided the voice of a robot called BOB in the Black Hole. But his name wasn't included in the credits of that movie. That was wrong. Sadly, Pickens died just four years after the Black Hole was made. I give Slim a 4 star rating.

Is their a list somewhere on this site for brief, blazingly brilliant film careers? John Cazale appeared in something like 5 films in his career and each and every one of them is a definitive classic of the American Cinema - The Godfather, The Godfather II, The Conversation, Dog Day Afternoon, and The Deer Hunter. Name an actor who had such a gift or great luck in the auditioning process. And more importantly, name an actor who brought such flesh and blood charaters to life everytime the camera was turned on him.

Det-Pep MADE the show worth watching - consistently and QUIETLY going above and beyond the call of duty - helping and supporting families and victims alike. Maintaining professionalism as well as a sense of humor. Thinking on his feet to manipulate the best outcome for the greater good. Grievously underestimated and more deserving in being recognized for tireless efforts to help those who need it. A shame in this day and age to see REALLY why he is not on Season 2 of Manhunters on A&E. Everyone will have to answer for their actions eventually. Keep doing what you do Det Pep - ALL THINGS COME TO LIGHT!

This man was great actor. He starred on Gilligan's Island back in the sixties before I was born. Carrol O'Connor almost got the part but it was a good thing that he didn't. O'Connor was great as Archie Bunker and Bill Gillespie but not as the Skipper.

Alan Hale JR. played the Skipper for three or four years. MR. Hale guest starred on a Batman episode as a cook who was named Gilligan. Sadly, Hale died nearly twenty years ago in 1990.

He also guest starred in the Andy Griffith show and in MR. Ed. I give Alan Hale JR. a 5 star rating.

Phil Hartman was a great actor. His wife was a psycho. When he married her, his ex-wife wrote them a letter and wished them the best. When Hartman's new wife read the letter, she wrote to Hartman's ex-wife and threatened her.

That bitch took the life of a great man. She then took the cowards way out and killed herself. She's probably frying in Hell for what she did.

I used to watch Hartman on Saturday Night Live. He starred in another TV show titled 'NewsRadio'. He starred in movies too. He starred in Coneheads, Fletch Lives, So I married an axe murderer, etc.

Hartman provided the voice for characters in over 50 episodes of the Simpsons. He even starred in a cameo in Loaded Weapon 1. MR. Hartman deserves the 5 star rating that I'm giving him.

I think that Brandon Routh did a good job in Superman Returns. I also like that he looks a lot like Christopher Reeve. Superman is going to be rebooted like Batman was in Batman Begins. Brandon Routh will reprise the role of Superman in the next Superman movie. I give MR. Routh a 4 star rating.

Pak Daddy showed upon time, but changed the quoted price upon arriving at my house. Over the phone I was quoted $55, with an extra $10 for out of range delivery. I agreed to pay an additional $10 to have the feet put on the couch and the plastic wrap taken off and hauled away. I was quoted this price by the owner and was also told I would be called the night before the delivery to arrange a time. I waited until 8:30pm the night before and had to leave a message. I was called back at 9pm. When they arrived I was told that it would actually be $105 to put the feet on and to take the plastic away. I really had no choice but to pay the full $75 without the extra service I had been quoted. It was disapointing and I will not use this service again.
