I remember Ekaterina's heartfelt performances on ice with her late husband, Sergei Grinkov.  She also shows versatility in that she can skate solo, as well, which she had to learn after Sergei passed away so tragically.  Her first solo performance was dedicated to him, in which she did a routine as though Sergei was with her.  It was a very moving piece.  Afterward, she went on to learn true solo skating, and it didn't seem to take long for her to fall into place.  Daria, her daughter, now seems to be following in the footsteps of her parents.

I've got to agree with LJF777.  You never knew what he was going to do.  One competition some years back, he cost himself some points stepping out on the ice and skating to a rap tune.  Usually, the skaters during standard competitions skate to more traditional musical styles (such as classical), and this was a very daring move on Viktor's part.

Seriously, though.  Viktor Petrenko is very artistic in his performances.  He (along with many others) has truly shown the creative side of the sport of ice skating.
