SLOW turn around time. They have to get your movies back in California before they will mail more. This was about a TEN day turnaround to Indiana. POOR selection. Had to keep over 100 in my queue just so there would be ten movies available.

If you get a broken disc, which I realize may not have been their fault, you have simply lost a rental. They do NOT dispatch another disc until they receive that one back.

Selection is VERY limited. I had to keep about ONE Hundred titles in my queue to have 15 that were actually in stock. Turn around time very lengthy. They offer premiums (freebies) but mine was forgotten. POOR customer service.

Poor selection and a loooong time to get movies. I created an email exclusively to use with this website and it is full of spam. Maybe I agreed to this in the fine print when I accepted their terms, what a bunch of crap. The actual information about my rentals was often lost in the spam shuffle, mixed with all the other junk from the people they sold my email to. Beware like the swine flu.

SOME good movies but nasty, illogical customer service, and unfair lost dvds policy. If they say it wasn't received, they expect $30.00 USD each period. Whatever happens to dvds en route to and from Michigan is renters liability. Rep says they never have any problems at their end and everything is customer's responsibility. Ultimately can't trust them not to put bogus charges on my cc ...and just not worth the hassle.

Star Wars nearly wasn't made. George Lucas submitted it to every movie studio and every movie studio rejected it except one. 2oth Century Fox was the only studio who accepted it.
The same thing also happened about the Star Wars action figures. No toy manufacturer would make the action figures except Kenner. But when they decided to start having the new Star Wars action figures made, every toy manufacturer wanted to make them. Kenner once again got to make them.
If 20th Century Fox had also rejected Star Wars, there would be no Darth Vader. No Luke Skywalker. No Princess Leia. Sci-fi fans all over the world would be less happy if Star Wars didn't exist.

I don't mind knowing what's gonna happen if it feels like a natural or logic progession of the story. But when it's the result of some awful and contrived plot device or your typical out of character nonsense then I want to punch the scriptwriter right in the face. This happens a lot in horror movies, like when some girl is inside her house and some nasty alien / serial killer is trying to force the door and you know she will go "Mike, is that you?". But of course it's him! He always tries to get in kicking the door like that... Come on! :)

It was a funny movie and Cheech and Chong were an unique one of a kind comedy team. It was a different time then.

I am really surprised that more has not been done on this fascinating conflict; although, I suppose that the language barrier and the odd organizations and characters in that conflict would be confusing and off-putting to the English speaking world.

This war had just about everything that Hollywood would want: atrocity, bravery, static fronts with terrible attrition, then breakout and fast moving fronts, terrible sieges, character studies, conspiracy, Communists, Fascists, Nazis, Socialists, anarchists, democrats, bad Germans, bad Russians, bad Italians, bad asses, saints, sinners, ideology running rampant, religion and anti-religion, treachery, spies, international intervention, unique settings, beautiful scenery and so much more.

Nice line, but nothing tops this:

A classic example of of type of a film, that can't be done again, because things are too policitically correct, now adays.

My favorite line from the film.....

"Well, it got so that every piss-ant prairie punk who thought he could shoot a gun would ride into town to try out the Waco Kid. I must have killed more men than Cecil B. DeMille. It got pretty gritty. I started to hear the word "draw" in my sleep. Then one day, I was just walking down the street when I heard a voice behind me say, "Reach for it, mister!" I spun around... and there I was, face-to-face with a six-year old kid. Well, I just threw my guns down and walked away. Little bastard shot me in the ass. So I limped to the nearest saloon, crawled inside a whiskey bottle, and I've been there ever since."
