i have spent soooooo much money at this place, in store and online and usually i have an excellent experience with them. BUT, i recently bought a new seal deal club card and when i got it in the mail today it said i had to go to this one part on their website to fully activate it...so i typed everything in correctly but it told me that the card was INVALID! so after a few tries it obviously was not a case of me mistyping or whatnot. so then i tried to put it on my account the regular way i did when i got my last one that expired and i enter the numbers in and it told me that the card was EXPIRED! this is RIDICULOUS! dont they check these things to make sure they are not sending bogus cards that are of no use?! i am so mad right now, i have sent them an email and i plan to call tomorrow within their hours stated on the website to have this resolved as soon as possible. i absolutely WILL NOT accept being sold an EXPIRED card!

UPDATE:
so i ended up calling their customer service of which they ended up having the same problems with my card and the girl i spoke with then told me that they would send me a new one within 3-5 days. days go by and i did not recieve the card but i did finally get a response (a week from when i emailed them) and told the girl all the information for the card and my account and she fixed the card in a snap (why they could not just do that when i had called is beyond me!) BUT i still cannot get the card to register for the coupons that i would get for registering. i can only get the online discount. and apparently nobody ever even sent that new card i was originally supposed to get, so luckily i got that email back. IF i choose to renew my card again in a year, i am going to call them first and speak to them to explain my situation from this card and that i do not want a repeat!

Review Icon danie5 reviewed Jared in Jewelry Stores:
We bought our engagement bands at Jareds Galleria off of 95th St in Overland Park. We have consistently taken the ring in every 6 months for inspections/cleaning per the warranty instructions. One of the diamonds has fallen out of my ring and my husband and I went up to Jareds to have the diamond replaced. Once we got there, all of a sudden, they were not able to locate the records of our previous 6 month inspections (2 of them) in their system. Now they are not willing to honor the warranty and want to charge us to replace the diamond at a ridiculous cost. The only reason we went to Jareds was due to the local presence and this warranty offering. this is a scam, no one ever mentioned about us, the consumer, having to do all the record keeping, they always said it is updated in their computer system. Nor did they ever offer a receipt after their 6 month inspections of the ring. After we left the store we contacted there corporate office. The lady on the phone (who told us we were "just out of luck") said there was no manager she could transfer us to and if we wanted to contact anyone else we would have to write a letter, then abrubtly hung up on us. Now it is the Holidays, my ring is ruined (looks bad w/o a diamond) and they won't help us. Great customer service, until they have your money. This is truely the worst experience I have ever been through with a retail establishment.

Review Icon Tugg reviewed Jared in Jewelry Stores:
I couldn't understand all of the bad reviews. We had always had such good experiences there. And then they misled us into thinking we could utilize a promotion in a certain way. They told us when we went to pick up our merchandise, we would owe only 200.00, but when we got there, they said we owed 1000.00. They had explained the voucher program wrong and were unwilling to correct their mistake. We made several purchases to earn those vouchers, over 10,000 worth and they tried to nickel and dime us over 800.00.

My diamond earrings, wedding band, and engagement ring were all purchased there and I continuously need to go there to have my diamonds checked and keep my warranty in place. I am livid.

yesterday

I used to purchase most of my working wardrobe from Lands' End, until they decided to mostly abandon professional women several years ago. Now, about 90% of my work and casual clothes come from Talbots'. I am petite, and Talbots' offers beautiful classic styles that fit me perfectly, rather than the cheap-looking, boring clothes offered for petites in most department stores. I also love the fact that they carry narrow-width shoes. The "classic rewards" program, and the amazing sales are the best! I constantly get compliments on my wardrobe, often from total strangers. Talbots is a real winner!

yesterday

I've been a Lands' End customer for over 20 years, but the past several years have been very disappointed in the quality and fit of their pants. The "modern fit" chinos have a huge gap at the back of the waist, and the length shrunk like crazy. I also used to love their "First Person Singular" catalog, which offered womens' professional clothing along with helpful wardrobe suggestions. They seem to have forgotten all about professional women since they merged with Sears. I am now purchasing my work wardrobe from Talbots'.

yesterday

I walked into a Chico's (Lancaster, PA) for the first time in my life just to see what all the fuss was about. The salespeople were friendly but really a little too aggressively 'sales oriented' for my taste. I felt like they were on me like vultures.

That said, I found some really pretty clothes there. Yeah, some clothes do look like something an eccentric wealthy woman with bad taste would wear.....but there is a range of clothing styles and I found some very nice skirts and belts and jewelry that were quite unique. But HELP! The sizing is crazy! They use some crazy system to size their clothes. I guess they want bigger people to feel better about themselves but it was just ridiculous. I think they should just use REGULAR sizing so I can find my size!

The prices are way over the top for what you get. I mean, the quality if fair-good at best. In truth, one shirt I bought looked faded after one wash in cold water. That's KMart quality if you ask me. And the hem of one skirt came down (the threads unravelled) so I had to sew it back up. The belt I got is nice and so is the bracelet but honestly, I don't see them as being much better than what you could get at Target for half the price.

Overall, I will probably not go back. There's really nothing to entice me.

Quick shipping, order was complete. I have used Atafa twice for safety supplies and items were exactly as described. I highly recommend.

I am terribly disappointed in Chico's service. They were out of the slacks that I wanted and was told that they would ship them to me. Great. I cheerfully paid for them and waited and waited and waited. After a few weeks I called and was told that they no longer had that particular item and that I would eventually get a refund. I received a letter stating that same thing ( No check though) and was told I Would receive my money within 6 weeks. I am still waiting !! : ( When I try to call I get the run around and am told that only certain people can check on it and they are never available. It has been a no less than 5 calls over the past few weeks with no result. At first I was frustrated and now it is just absurd. They refuse to give me a refund just a run around.

I'd rate it a zero if I could. Five weeks and five emails later - no order and no answer. What a waste of time and money.
