Crooked As They Come !!!

I dropped off a brand new comforter to be cleaned and brought home a ratty blanket filled with more holes than piece of swiss cheese. After several trips to American Cleaners with my damaged merchandise, I was informed that they would neither reimburse or repair the damages. At this point, I asked to speak with the manager. I was informed that "Kevin" would contact me. Needless to say, I never heard from Kevin, and took the initiative to contact him directly. Despite the repeated voicemails I left for Kevin, he did not return any of my calls . After weeks of being ignored, I returned to American Cleaners and asked what Kevin's hours were. The employee looked at me like I was crazy, and said "NEVER". Apparently, Kevin is too busy managing nine (yes, NINE) dry cleaners to show up on site. I then requested Kevin's last name, which she refused to give me. Determined to speak with someone who would actually work with me to resolve this issue, I asked for the owners name and contact info. Again, this employee refused to provide me any pertinent information other than the owners first name, "Jody".

Having exhausted all of my options, I left one final voicemail for Kevin, informing him that if he did not contact me, I would be forced to file a report with the Better Business Bureau. True to his nature, Kevin did not return my call, and I did ultimately file a complaint with the BBB. To date, American Cleaners continues to ignore several attempts made by the BBB to address this issue and the deadline to respond has now passed. At this stage, I have no other choice but to file for damages in small claims court.

In sum, American Cleaners ruined a brand new comforter and refuses to take accountability. Under no circumstances will they address this issue with myself or the BBB. The unethical and unprofessional behavior exhibited by American Cleaners and it's staff is appalling and should serve as a stern warning to their existing and potential customers.

Belle Saison Bridal is AMAZING!! I highly recommend them to any bride out there. I called to set up an appointment and liked them from then on.
Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful, she listened to what I wanted and she was very helpful. I bought my wedding dress, shoes, vail, head piece, jewlery, under garments and invitations from Belle Saison Bridal. Everything arrived as scheduled (some coming in early) and everything was in excellent condition.
I absolutely LOVE my wedding dress, it is exactly what I wanted. I had been to many other bridal stores and this one is by far the best there is.

The one on the 71 next to the hill country Galleria is nasty. Went in there looking for a new cleaner closer to my home...

DIRTY! Clobs of dust balls on the windows celling fan.. Everywhere.

Illegal alien in the back wiping her nose as she pressed the shirts.. Nice.. Get sick wearing your dry cleaning.

Amazed HOW they stay open?? What retard would ever go back to a place that is dirty and you are paying them to do a cleaning service?

I will never go to a jack brown cleaners again. Might go open my own cleaners, invest in a box of gloves and have the people who work there wear them and CLEAN the store daily too!

Would anyone go there? Guess not in Austin.. As its cool to go to grubby shit holes..Like thunder cloud subhole where they make your nasty sandwich without gloves...Yum Yum

Admiral Linen started with inaccurate invoices and inventory, then a few dirty sheets here and there with the promise that I could just send them back without a charge. Each time however required a phone call and several voicemails including to the supervisor Blaine deLeon who might or might not get back to you. If you are lucky you might receive a call within a week and then of course when he does get back to you, he will promise you one thing and then not deliver. So, if you want a linen service that has no accountability, an inability to communicate promptly, this might be the service for you, otherwise, for a small business owner like myself, I have less hassles without them. I'd encourage anyone who is interested in a reputable linen service to steer clear of Admiral Linen. Thank you.

Balina is one of 6 bridal stores I recently visited in Austin. Looking, of course, for a the perfect wedding gown. After the treatment I received at Baline, I would *never* consider purchasing a dress from them, nor recommend the store to another person. My friends, who accompanied me to help me find my dress, were rudely told not to touch the wedding dresses. I was also told that friends-of-the-bride were not allowed to pick dresses for the bride. After selecting several dresses to try on, the staff of the store told me I could not continue looking at more dresses, and that I already had too many to try on. I was asked my budget, and told I could not try on dresses outside of my budget. The consultant who helped me was inefficient, and lacked knowledge of the products. She could not, for example, tell me the materials that dresses were made out of. After 45 minutes, my consultant told me her next appointment was in, and that if I wanted to try on anything else I would have to schedule another appointment at a later time. My overall experience at Balina Bridal was horrific. These are people with huge egos, terrible customer service skills, poor knowledge base, and shameful manners.

Pros: None. Same dresses elsewhere!

Cons: Poor service, unkempt bathroom, small changing rooms, rude!

Beautiful salon. All the dresses are lovely! Had a great experience here. This place was the first salon I visited to try on dresses. I was lured all the way from Dallas by Pronovias trunk show. The sales lady first asked me a lot of questions about the type of wedding I was going to have, as well as my style to find out which designer might suit me the best. I didn't find anything on sale (although you can get a fantastic deal if you're lucky), but found a gorgeous Jane Wang dress that I loved, although it was at the outer limits of what I was willing to pay for THE dress. I decided to shop around a bit more and check out some other designers, but I really liked the ambiance, the dresses, the service and the overall experience. This week I drove back to Austin and back to Balina Bridal, looked at some Demetrios gowns but ended up ordering THE dress.

I brought in a brand new shirt I had worn once to a wedding. It was clean, but needed to be laundered for another event. When I picked it up the first time, there were new, small green spots on the shirt and several pieces of animal hair on it. I pointed out the new stains and asked for it to be redone. The employee acted as if this were my problem and she was doing me a favor by sending it back.

When I picked it up for the second time, the green stains were gone, but the seams on the body and on the outside of the collar were disgustingly dirty. It looked like someone had used a dirty iron and burned the shirt, too. There were also several areas where there were small brown stains. I was told to send it back one more time, but if it wasnt fixed, I should fill out a claim form.

I just came back for the third time this morning, and the shirt looked the same same dark gray on the seams and collar, same little brown stains on other parts of the shirt. And, there were more pieces of animal hair on it. I was told I had to send it back again.
When I came back it still wasnt good even though I was assured that they had soaked the shirt in bleach for two days! I filed a damage form and it was rejected by the owner.
Avoid Jack Brown Cleaners. Terrible.

this place is an absolute joke. i had them do some of my dry cleaning the first week of january this year. they lost a shirt, which still has not been returned to me. i have returned to the store on barton skyway on at least nine occassions, spoke to liz, the supposed manager, only for her to keep putting me off. last time i saw her, i asked her once again to call the other store to see if it had yet been located. .. she tells me , "um, yeah, i'm off the clock right now." .. wow, awesome service there. finally i get the phone numbers for jimmy and kevin, both of whom are supposed to be with management, leaving at least a half dozen messages for each of them. .. i still have had no response from either of them. i have finally spoken with jody. she is supposedly the opwner of a all the stores. i told her my story, and she promised to check into and get back with me. .. that was over three weeks ago... still no word. bottom line is, do yourself a FAVOR, AND DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, THE CUSTOMER, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT PROFITS. THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO BUSINESS SENSE WHAT SO EVER.
