Hell, yes. Those damn kids, laughing and joking and giggling about dangerous zoo animals. Young people these days, by cracky, dad burn them, there's no telling what they'll get up to.

Bought this stuff tonight. It's more than great. It left my mouth feeling incredibly clean, and unlike some other toothpastes, the flavor isn't overpowering. I noticed a huge difference in the coloring of my teeth after only a minute of use. Also, unlike some other other toothpastes that can sometimes leave teeth feeling fuzzy, this stuff left my teeth feelign as if they were fine china. It has a mild mint flavor, leaves your mouth pleasantly tingly, and all over whitened my teeth noticeably after only one use. The box recommends giving three weeks, and I can't wait to see. This is a great product and I would recommend.

A manifestly over-rated film with a largely phoney controversy. The film was supposed to pander to and encourage gang violence, in much the same way that virtually every biker film had been accused of (particularly The Wild One)

There was apparently a stabbing in or near a theatre showing it, and the sensationalist elements of the media (and, I suspect, the studio's PR department) seized on that. Inclusion on this list just shows how artistically and historically bankrupt Entertainment Weekly is.

Entertainment Weekly has its collective head up its collective ass, (no surprise there)
if they regard this as one of the top 25 most controversial movies ever.

The same could be said of a few others on this list. And where is "L'Age d'Or," "Chien Andalou," "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," "It Happened One Night," "If.." "Citizen Kane," "Short Eyes," "Dogma," "Soldier Blue," "The Outlaw," "Salo," "Intolerance," "She Done Him Wrong," "Lolita," "Justine," "Midnight Cowboy," "MASH," "Inserts," "Straw Dogs," "Death Wish," "Badlands," "Pink Flamingos," "Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Blow-Up," "Salvador," and "Pretty Baby," to name a bunch that were more controversial in their day, and in some cases still today, than many that Entertainment Weekly has selected.

Oh, and if they wanted to put a controversial cartoon on the list, here are a couple of genuinely controversial selections for that genre: "Fritz the Cat," and "Heavy Traffic"

The controversy was largely manufactured and heavily manipulated by the film's promoters to ensure that revenues were maximized. As such, I can hardly see it at the top of a list of controversial films, unless you plan on putting 2012 and Da Vinci Code up there with it in a troika of manufactured shock.

Essentially this was a couple of hours of competently made torture porn, and not much more.

During my career as a political aide, every male boss I had got hit on with regularity, no matter what they looked like. When I hear women going into righteously critical mode about people like Monica Lewinsky or Donna Rice I find it very hard not to laugh.

Technically, I am enrolled at Keller Graduate School of Management. KGSM is part of DeVry. My problems are coming from the DeVry side. I agree with those who say Devry/Keller seems to be more interested in cash flow than education. However, my major isue with DeVry is that they send Emails out falsely, deliberately misrepresenting the true identiuty of the sender. This only serves to create unnecessary confusion and friction. A secondary issue is that their IT system is a hodgepodge of multiple programs, multiple servers, and myriad Email addresses. Hence, information does not seamlessly flow between departments.

I gave DeVry $2,000 on a debit card 11-12-09. Because their antiquated system failed to recognize it. I had to contact my Student Support Advisor (SSA) after they would not let me register again. We arranged a date as to when I would pay the rest. I thought everything was fine. Two days later, I received a rogue Email. It was disguised to appear to have come from the SSA. It demanded $4,000, not the $2,000 I owed them, and stated I had agreed to pay all up front, which I never do. My first impression was that the SSA had reneged on her deal, and I fired off a rather unkind Email. Then I was told by a staff member that rogue Emails are a daily thing. Upon further examination, the Email was not sent from the SSA, and contained nothing about which we had discussed.

Somebody in Chicage completely screwed up my account. But because they masqueraded themselves as the SSA, I have no idea whom it was. I find rogue Emails to be duplicitous, highly unethical, and impersonating. I wrote a letter to David Pauldine, the President of DeVry, about my concerns. It is too early to have received a response yet, but I really doubt they will do much.

I am already in contact with other business schools should it become necessary to jump ship. DeVry needs to appreciate that given distance learning, they are in competition with probably 50 other universities. DeVry also needs to realize which way the money is flowing here. I am paying them a lot of money, in cash no less, to do a job. While they are not failing, they could clearly do better at it. I am incredulous that a school that stresses ethical behavior in its students can undertake such highly unethical practices.

Review Icon irishgit reviewed Freaks in Classics:
This is a fascinating film, and a thoroughly creepy and unsettling one. Forget the plot, the key here is the understated commentary on humanity. It gradually begins to dawn on even the most casual viewer that the monsters here are not the "freaks" the deformed, the damaged, but the morally bankrupt "normal" people.

There are some incredible scenes here, the famous wedding feast, the pursuit through the rain, and the closing sequence, but the movie is best viewed as a whole to appreciate Tod Browning's unnerving vision. Reaction to the film at the time of its release was shock and controversy, and it effectively ended Browning's (who had directed Dracula) career. He made four more films after Freaks, but had to struggle to get each of them produced, and was faced with ostracism in the Hollywood industry.

Grizzly L/C Wintergreen is by far the best I've ever tried. I first started dipping 6 days ago because I had a little buzz from drinking and didn't have a cigarette. I got a pinch of Copenhagen Mint (I think it was) and REALLY liked it. The next day I got a pinch of Grizzly L/C Wintergreen from the same friend that had the Cope and fell in LOVE! I just used up the last pinch of my Grizzly last night and have been dipping Skoal Peach (suck-ass), and Grizzly Wintergreen pouches along with the occasional Camel Snus Frost. But nothing can touch the Grizzly Wintergreen L/C. I'm not particularly fond of the pouches, but it will do until tomorrow when I get another can of Long Cut. I still smoke my menthol cigarettes, but not as often because of the love that I have for dip now. I like to dip loose dip or pouches when I'm able to spit, but in class I think I'll have to settle for the Snus because it's spitfree. I like the tingle that I get from the Snus, but nothing can compare to the Grizzly Long-Cut Wintergreen.

Is it true that the higher the number behind the barcode the more intense the flavor? The loose that I had had a number of 10; the pouches a number of 3. They SUCK compared to the loose....Whatcha think?!?!?!

A somewhat goofy but rather fun '50s horror film starring Vincent Price in a role he essentially reprised over and over. It was among the first 3D movies made, and there are a lot of scenes that seem irrelevant unless one considers their 3D purpose (the ping-pong ball bat guy, the can-can dancers for example.)

It is by no means a great or even good movie, even by the by the standards of '50's horror but next to the revolting 2005 remake with Paris Hilton, its The Shining.

It's the best song currently on this list, and it still only gets three stars. It's the only song on this list that would pass my radio test, meaning if it came on the radio, I wouldn't change the station. I'm not really a fan of the current brand of pop-country that Taylor Swift has become the standard bearer for, but she is talented, and she writes her own songs.

I lost my job three months ago and it simply made more sense to move in with my parents to

make ends meet and it was very kind of them to accommodate me.Now even though I had sold

off some of the furniture there were some things that I simply did not want to part with. Like a

piano which was a gift from a very special person. I went with American Choice Van Lines

because they were reasonably priced but when they came to pick my stuff I was really worried

about the piano because I my apartment was on the third floor and I wasn’t confident that three

guys would be able to lift that heavy piano but they did and they loaded it into the truck with

ease. But it almost felt like I was holding my breath to see my piano again fortunately when it

was delivered to me it didn’t have a scratch on it. I don’t intend to stay with my parents forever

and the next time I have to move I am only calling these guys.

AC Las Vegas was a God sent. Our AC went out and we were affraid we were going to have to spend an arm and a leg to replace it. AC Las Vegas saved us several hundred dollars and they even had our new AC replaced within 24 hours. I don't know what we would have done with out them.

This is, by no stretch of the imagination, an experiment. It is clearly an operation, albeit a failed one. There's a lot of blame to go around here regarding its failure, from CIA planners, to over-zealous Cuban exile groups, to screwball contract Agency employees, to Kennedy's half-assed committment to the plan and ultimate bailout in mid-invasion.

I'm a little confused by the word "experiment" in the list title, particularly when it comes to this item. This was an exercise in propaganda, cointelpro and subversion aimed at descrediting Castro, or even killing him. As such, it is more properly termed an "operation" than an "experiment" and it was not significantly stranger than many similar operations that have been carried out by the CIA or other intelligence agencies.

I've been using Arbonne products off/on since 2006. There are some products I really like and have continued to order - then there are other products that I don't care for. The RE9 skincare line is actually pretty good. The skin rejuvenating cream from the Intelligence line I love to use on my face, scars and as a hair moisturizer. The eye shadows are actually pretty good as well, but I don't like the mascara or the foundations. I've noticed the foundations do not oxydize well, and turn darker and somewhat an orange color towards the end of the day. I signed up as a consultant, but do not market the products. I signed up to get the discount; which is a benefit for the items that I do order on a regular basis. As for the skeptics out there ... it does take time to see results as it would for most products. Also for those who speak down on MLM companies ... there are many companies out there that are legit and provide a quality product. I see Arbonne as one of them and I've never made a penny from it. MLM's are a great way businesses market their product with very little overhead. It's an opportunity for people to do something different and enjoy life - instead of being negative people working the 9-5 grind or whatever hours they put in. Most people involved in MLM are positive people and see life as an opportunity and most who are serious do not speak bad about other product lines. They know to respect the differences that are out there - whether retail or MLM. I'm all for making a second nest egg for my future through an MLM I believe in. Arbonne has some good products, but it's not the MLM for me. So for those who continue to speak down about something they know nothing about ... do some research.
