You're one gentle soul Donovan. Just for that I have to agree for once that being a devote Christian is the right thing for you. For most, religion brings chaos. For you, religion brings peace. I do feel a bit ashamed of myself when comparing to someone like you, a lot of us must sound like a bunch of reckless punks.

Donovan is probably one of the most solid religious reviewers on this site. He has never been rude to those who disagree with him (not that I do), and is very, very knowledgeable. He is very well versed in many areas and has always made me, and most people, feel extremely welcome. God Bless ya Donovan!

Gee Donovan, thank you. I was honestly surprised that you "trust" me, I guess with my own prejudices against myself, thank you. Reading from your testimonials I found them very touching and I was suddenly humbled rather than surprised. I'll have to read more of your reviews, I've only read a handful, butt so far I like your mindset. Coolness.

An authority on Christian beliefs and concerns, Donovan is a prolific, good- natured, and kind hearted reviewer who although he stands his ground, never uses his beliefs and principles as a club, but rather appears to seek common ground and really follows the values and virtues set forth by his faith. Donovan also writes solid and knowledgeable reviews about many other subjects, and is a respected and well liked member of the site. I totally agree with the comment by edt4 posted below.

We probably have at least as many differences of opinion as we do agreements, but that's never been a problem for me. Donovan is a decent, respectful man, who can make his points clearly and without venom, even when he is clearly telling you that you're damn fool. One of the better reviewers on here.

Donovan is a Man of Honor. He was the first to put me back on his "trusted" list, despite our many disagreements and frequent arguments. He has taught me a lot by his subtle grace.

I don't know how many times Donavon has backed up my Reviews, whether the crowd does or not. He is truly a loyal friend, and deserves one of the best spots on RIA.

I would like to take this time out to tell everybody that Donovan is a wonderful encourager. His reviews are always interesting, and he has a positive outlook on life. It's very obvious to see that he has a strong walk with the Lord.

A very big and understanding heart. Although he and I disagree on a great number of things, I can agree to disagree with him...and, hopefully, to just as heavily and heartily agree with him when the time comes.

Very strong in his beliefs, which I can respect because his comments come across as intelligent. Even when i disagree with something, he's still been found helpful because of the way in which he approaches a topic. He's also made afew of my all-time fav. weblists which I have enjoyed submitting suggestions to (on occasion).

When it comes to theological issues, and, by extension, politics, Donovan and I seldom agree, but he has a strong knowledge of whatever issue he happens to be talking about and also has a great sincerity. Not shrill or overbearing; his posts are informative and entertaining and, even when he disagrees with you, civil; you know where he stands on any given issue, and such forthrightness is definitely an admirable quality. Also, he seems to be a genuinely nice guy.

Stands up for what he believes in, no matter what! A fine defender of the christian faith.

I've learned quite a bit from reading Donovan's posts. I highly recommend this reviewer.

Donovan is deeply religious,yet he does not pass judgement on anyone.He is very honest and open,and whether I agree with him or not,I respect him.He is also a nice guy and a gentleman.

Apart from probably being one of the nicest and most genuine reviewers on RIA, his lists are interesting, opinions are fair and an overall nice guy! One of the most genuine Christians I’ve met. It’s so hard to find a Christian who is not religious in a judgemental way.
