It is good music. Not great, but good. It does sound a bit like a rip off, not just of what another poster called the "real thing", but when I was working in a record store I had multiple people ask me if it was Interpol.
Take it for what it is, good music. Don't get caught up in the pretenious bs of "what the real deal is" and "these guys are posers". If you like it, listen to it, it is good music.
