One of my favourite reviewers on RateItAll.
Has some interesting and often funny things to say on a large range of items, and is certainly not afraid to speak his mind.

Definitely on the top of my list of favorite reviewers. A regular Jack of all trades who is wise beyond his years

Not to parrot back what callitdowntheline75 has already said, but I think it deserves reiteration: Jed seems to know a little bit (or a whole lot) about EVERYTHING, from actors how have played Tarzan to the evolution of Constitutional interpretation, from French authors' use of nuance to how to deal with annoying RIA reviewers. Informed, diplomatic and often humorous, Jed's reviews make for some good reading.

Jed1000 is definitely one of the smartest reviewers on RIA. He has such a vast amount of knowledge and possesses a keen intellect like few others. Anyone who reads his post (whether or not they agree with him) would at least acknowledge how incredibly intelligent he is. Keep up the great (and insightful) posts, Jed1000!

I especially like Jeds writing as he's one of my favorites on RIA. Jed uses very good vocabulary and refrains from using overused adjectives so his opinions really stand out on this website. I especially like his keen observations on media, entertainment, Hollywood, and music but that only scratches the surface as he seems to have expressed his thoughts on everything under the sun. His writing is always backed with sharp intelect and he seems like a really nice guy to boot.

Jed has a gift for cutting through the rubbish to keep things honest. On new list topics, he's frequently the first to nail what needs to be said. I hold in high esteem both his contributions and his sense of humanity.

There's much to be said about having the talent to pick your words so that a concise comment says a lot. It's one of the things that I admire about Jed's comments; diverse, intelligent, informative yet concise, he is opinionated without being obnoxious or in-your-face about it. Not to mention that he's easy-going and great to talk to. One of the reviewers I most highly respect here.

Jed is not afraid to give feedback on things he doesn't like (e.g. the testimonial feature). This characteristic makes a positive review from Jed that much more meaningful.
