@irishgit: I never said saying Happy Holidays was slamming Christians. You read a lot of stuff into things, and I'm just not going to fight.@Lena: If somebody wishes me Happy Holidays, I will not criticize them. But in return, I don't want to be criticized for saying Merry Christmas. I was just merely stating what I thought on Merry Christmas vs. Happy Holidays.
I do have a lot of strength and faith, and God has brought me through more than you'll ever know, and I give Him all the credit for it. What I don't like are people slamming Christians every chance they get, and I have overlooked a lot of stuff that you and others have said in the past, and not said a word. But there are times when I have to say something, just like you do, to get a point across. In spite of what you believe, I do have respect for you. But I do have a right to speak my mind like everyone else.
I never said I was perfect, irish, and I am only human. Christians do have feelings, and can get offended just like anybody else does. Sorry that my Christianity bothers you so much. It's really rather obvious it does. And I was being asked a question, so I answered.
You're really an all around guy, Frank. :)
I will not deliberately try to be disrespectful to somebody. But when someone says Happy Holidays to me, especially at Christmas, that's an offense to me because of the way I personally believe, but I won't be critical of someone because they choose to use that phrase. So what's the difference if I get offended or if someone else gets offended? Like I said in my review, someone's always going to be offended.
I agree.
