This is the definition of a love it or hate it cigarette. They are the in-between of Marlboro Lights and Marlboro Reds. Some people hate Marlboro Red's for their strong chemical taste, while other people hate Marlboro Lights for their lack of a nicotine punch and flavor.

If you liked certain qualities about those two cigarettes, then I'm sure you'll enjoy a Marlboro Medium. Fairly smooth without a sickly chemical taste, but with a bold flavor and a good nicotine kick to boot. It's the best of both worlds.

If you have never enjoyed a Marlboro cigarette, then this certainly won't change your mind - it's simply a combination of the strongest traits of their two most popular varieties. But if you do, you certainly can't go wrong with a pack of these. I enjoy them off and on.

The main appeal of a cheap Marlboro Red knockoff is that it's supposed to deliver a similar nicotine kick, even if it tastes like ass. But this doesn't even deliver on that. I have a couple friends who swear by them so maybe I'm just not getting these. I have to admit though, it does have a really unique taste and I guess I could see how certain people could enjoy them. And they burn for a long time. Try them out, you might just like them.

My dad prefers menthol. My brother prefers regular. My handful of smoking buddies vary greatly. But I seem to be part of a low percentage in saying that I truly enjoy both mentholated and non-mentholated cigarettes. And this delivers on both sides.

It's basically a Camel Light (which I love) with a tiny bead of menthol in the filter. Crush it, and the menthol gets absorbed into the filter thus instantly creating a menthol cigarette in seconds. The menthol is powerfully cooling and quite minty, and the regular is exactly what you would expect of a fine Camel Light cigarette.

Honestly, if you're one of the few people who enjoy both kinds of cigarettes like me, you'll probably love these. If you don't, pick up a pack of Camel Lights or Camel Menthols.. can't go wrong there. (They have actually started to include the menthol bead in the Camel Menthols. Pretty awesome if you're looking for a *really* cold menthol.)

This is one of my usual brands now. Picked up a pack a month ago 'cause I'd never seen them before and I was in the mood for a menthol, and they were $1 off a pack. And I must say, these are fantastic.

There's a good hint of menthol, not overpowering but certainly not transparent in the draw. A very rich taste.. but at the same time, it almost has this "stale" overtone to it.. but not in a bad way. Does that make sense? Just buy a pack, I can't explain it without using jibberish. You'll love them.

As I mentioned in my review for Pall Mall Lights, you're not going to get a lot out of these cigarettes if you don't wear down the filter (roll it around inbetween your fingers, fold it in half multiple times one way and then other, etc.)

Once you've done that, these are pretty enjoyable. Don't expect a lot of flavor, 'cause there isn't much. A pretty decent menthol that does its job: A cooling but not minty sensation on draw, and a hint of it left on exhale. If you're a broke menthol smoker, pick up a pack of these. They're $3 here as opposed to the usual $5+ for most other brands. They're cheap everywhere.

If you're a real menthol smoker, do NOT buy these. This has to be worst cigarette I've tasted thus far and I've smoked 2 year old cigarettes (long story). I'm a big fan of mentholated cigs but this isn't menthol.

It's got this really vague almost menthol initial draw to it, but it's not smooth. It's not refreshing. It's everything a menthol isn't. It tastes like burning plastic with a hint of stale strawberry. Really, Camel? THIS is what you're aiming towards women? My female co-workers whom smoke never smoke these. If they're smoking a Camel, it's usually a Camel Filter or Menthol. Occasionally Lights. Real cigarettes.

Very disappointing, especially because if you take a whiff of the cigarette it smells like a sweet cigar, but it's an entirely different story when it's burning.

I would have given them a 3 if I had just started smoking them, but after having to resort to cheaper brands of cigarettes (due to pay cuts at work) for a good while now, I've learned how to enjoy these better.

You have to roll the filter around in-between your fingers for a good minute or two, fold the filter in half one way and then do it another, and just constantly wear it down. This really helps to make it a good smoke 'cause the way they pack the filters in for these is way too tight, so you have to do certain tricks to loosen up all the fibers so you're able to take a good drag.

Once you've done that, these really aren't a half bad cigarette. Comparable to a Marlboro Light but last twice (maybe three times) as long and have a lesser chemical taste to them. Try 'em out, they're pretty cheap everywhere. I get them here in Georgia for $3 a pack when I'm broke.
