1.5 stars. Offensively, he had a similar season to Ken Griffey Jr: who is nearly a decade older than Jones. He doesn't steal bases anymore and has been out of shape for some time. Jones was once a great defensive centerfielder, but the days of highlight reel catches are over, and so are the thirty and up home run totals. Jones is extremely cheap for a reason, and although it's a low risk move by Kenny Williams, hje may wind up being cut in spring training. Again, Jones was a great fielder and home run hitter with speed. However, in retrospect, it seems clear that while he was a great player to watch, he may have been rather overrated all along. Although batting average isn't the best tool to gauge a player's value, he was typically a .265 hitter. And the early comparisons and predictions that tied him to guys like Mantle and Mays now seem ridiculous. Perhaps Jones will rebound a little bit in Chicago, but the days of people talking about him as a Cooperstown inductee are well in the past now.

I'm not really sure how great of a move this really is. Tim is a good guy who's had a fine career here and he's done a lot for charity. He had a good first half before getting hurt. I also recognize that his contract is for even less than it has been in recent years, and that knuckleballers tend to age more slowly. However, he turned 43 this year, and at some point, even knuckleballers no longer have it. It's ok for sentimental reasons, and he does offer the team innings and versatility. But I just don't see this as being that great of a move in spite of the financial flexibility that his low salary gives the team.

At 42, Vizquel has lost more than a few steps, but he is still a good man with the leather. His maturity and stability could help Chicago's young infield, and while he may not have the title of coach, he may well be acting as one.

The Sox have been busy so far in the off-season, but I can't say I'm much impressed by most of their moves. Signing Jones, who appears all but done, for $500,000 plus bonuses may appear to be a low risk, potential high reward move, but taken in context with the rest of the Sox moves it just looks like they're loading up on junk and journeymen.

The key to this deal is Hudson's health. When healthy, he has historically been an effective to very good starter: though he's no longer among the very best starters in the game or the league. Hudson is no longer young at 34 either.
It's a solid gamble by The Braves. However, the deal could become a burden on the team if Hudson gets hurt again. I'll give this move 3.5 stars.

I had a fantastic experience at Price Busters ! The salespeople were very professional and helpful in makeing my experience the best it possibly could be. They made sure to explain to me that when I pick up or receive the delivery from them I was to make sure to inspect everything prior to signing that all was received in good condition. I ordered alot of furniture at the same time and I was told many times to inspect all of the merchandise. In fact a nightstand to one of the sets I bought from them came damaged I had inspected the furniture as I was told to and saw the damage before signing the paperwork. The driver marked that the merchandise was received damaged and the store exchanged it out for me without any hassle whatsoever. The prices were great and the freindly atsmosphere made it a pleasure to shop there !! I suggest that anyone looking for furniture at a great price and wants to have a good experience from start to finish......BUY THERE !!!

I had a slice of Pecan pie the other day. It was delicious. Pecan pie is one of my favorite pies. I also like Cherry and Apple pie.

This comedian is very entertaining. His strong points are when he jumps around and screams and makes weird noises. I believe he is my friend on MySpace. Six stars.

The personality of a library doorknob. I use to like her on the View (except when she acted crazy and tried to be zany. That was just awkward). But after seeing her cover the Macy's parade, I lost all respect. She was so dull. It's Thanksgiving Day! Get some holiday cheer on gal! But no, she just read her teleprompt blandly, and looked at the camera with a vague distant smile. I wish Matt Lauer would goose her or something to see if she is human and not a robotic stepford announcer. She should go back to reading (and I do mean reading) the evening news for some uneventful little place somewhere. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Camel Turkish Gold cigarettes are comparable, if not better than Tor Turkish, made in Belgium, a pack for $ 14...

Any time I go to the US, I buy a few cartons. The trouble is that you cannot get them in continental Europe.

I enjoyed baseball until several years ago when the players went on strike--they returned but I never did.

They say this is the ice cream of the future. But the last time I ate it, is in the past. I am very confused when faced with this paradox, and am waiting until a greater understanding of Quantum Mechanics can reconcile it. CERN may be on the way with the Large Hadron Collider, but until the results of these experiments are in and we have come up with a unified theory, I would stay away from this so-called ice cream. It's not worth your time. (Pun definitely intended.)

It's rumored that vomiting after eating this product can cause one to leap backward in time. I cannot verify, but I would be careful not to travel back to a time prior to the invention of Dippin' Dots, for obvious reasons.

I started working at Forever 21 a few weeks ago, and had I know just how terribly they treat their employees, I would have never applied. If it wasn't for the economy I would be putting in my two weeks today. On Tuesday got very bad food poisoning and called to let one of the managers know I wouldn't be able to go in the next day. The manager working at the time was incredibly upset at the news, and that set the tone for the rest of the phone conversation, where she told me I had a responsibility to be there. Although I find food poisoning to be quite the riot, I figured potentially throwing up on a customer was a huge no no. Before hanging up I asked about having been scheduled during hours I had listed on my availability sheet as not being available (mouthful). The manager on the phone became absolutely furious, and said "If you don't come in when we tell you to come in you will be fired." I'm a full-time student, and that is why my availability is what it is. Apparently that does not matter to the managers. I managed to get my hours changed upon finally calling the store at the right time and talking to the manager no one would put me through to begin with.

I'm not sure if many of you know (I certainly didn't), but not too long ago Forever 21 had a lawsuit on their hands for running sweatshops. It is not a great environment to work in, nor a great one to shop in. I apologize for rude employees, and while many may not have ever learned any manners, the others are probably just upset with the way they are being treated and overworked.

It's simple, really.

Pancake = awesome.

Sausage = awesome.

Combine them, for an awesomeness that is greater than the sum of its parts. Now, put it on a stick; the most brilliant food delivery method possible, and you have a winner. Delicious, delicious, delicious, delicious. Double awesomeness. Buy this product.

Be careful however: this DOES look like a corndog. If you're expecting a corndog, and bite into this, the awesomeness might take you by surprise. My uncle had this happen to him, and the overwhelming delicious awesomeness caused a blood vessel to burst in his brain, killing him instantly.

At least we can take solace in the fact that his very last memory was delicious.

Don't say I didn't warn you! Because I did warn you, and if you said I didn't, you'd be a liar. And liars don't deserve something this delicious.
