From what I understand, Freud liked his coke. Since cocaine and alcohol aren't the healthiest mix, I would drink with him, but would keep my eye out just in case. Nights that end in the E.R. typically aren't the most fun.

On the one hand she helped fund Columbus' trip to the new world. On the other hand, she drove the Jews and Muslims out of Spain. I think this is one I'm going to pass on.

Dorothy Parker was an exceptionally talented and witty writer, who followed the path of alcoholism that many other writers and poets went down. I find her to be just a fascinating person, and I would have loved to have a drink with her...seventy years ago.
