The Cardinals are one of the best sports franchises ever. They put the fans first. Players that are disrespectful of the fans, the team, or the game of baseball are jettisoned immediately. They new ownership has been fantastic delivering a competitive team year in and year out despite being a small market team. They've leveraged the good performance to create new revenue streams to keep the team competitive. The fans are knowledgeable (i.e. they don't think they are baseball gods because their team wins a World Series once every 100 years). When it comes to how the organization is run and how they treat the fans and community the Cardinals are second to none.
