We went for dinner at the local Shoney's yesterday..Big Mistake.. I ordered the ravioli.. I should have stayed at home and fixed a TV dinner.. It would have tasted better, and I would have saved a whole lot of money. The tea (I don't think it could really be called that) was watered down and definitely not sweet. The menu itself is not appetizing. I wanted to order the shrimp, but it looked like it came in a basket. If I wanted shrimp in a basket, I would go to the local fast food seafood restaurant.

I went to the bathroom..another big mistake..It felt dirty, and it also looked dirty with the
"Out of Order" sign hung on one of the doors of the stalls.

The waitress was friendly, but not overly so..

When you go to checkout, the whole area is covered with merchandise. It feels like back when
I was a kid at my house, and my mom had to hang the clothes in the house to dry on a rainy day.. Not a very comfortable feeling.

This is not the Shoney's I remember from my youth...I want my Shoney's back.

They don't stand behind their product. They hire people to build your house and when things go wrong with the builders or the materials they use it's not our fault and they have no clue whose fault it is.

I have recently moved into my brother’s house due to the fact that he could no longer afford the payment and choose to move to a rental. I called to get directv set up in my home. Directv told me that I would have to pay a $200.00 deposit and that each month part of that deposit would be applied back to my bill. That was fine, so I gave them my bank card information. They took the money from my account. I called to confirm my installation I was told to call another number. When I called I was told that my brother had not paid his bill from them in 2008 and until the bill was paid that they could not set up service for me and asked "Can you take care of this today". I told them it was not my bill and I was not willing to pay it. When I asked about my money I was told that it was nonrefundable and the only thing was dispute it through my bank. When I did this directv told my bank that my installation was never canceled so no refund could be issued. I called back and was given another number, then another number, then the second number I called yet again. They then told me that my account was pending and would remain pending until my brother’s bill was paid. I tried to reason with them telling them I do not live with my brother and will not pay his bill and that it is wrong for them to keep my money since I have never had service with them. They told me all I could do was contact my bank again or contact my brother to pay his bill. I do not work for directv and do not feel that it is my job to collect money on their behalf. I kept trying to explain myself and they said "there is nothing else I can do for you have a nice day", and at that point hung up on me. I have since then left a message with my bank, and filed a complaint with the better business bureau. I should hear something back within the next week. So as of right now I am still fighting for a refund of the money that was stolen from me. Be advised stay away from directv they claim to number one in customer service, but I have talked to many people who like me have had a very negative experience with them.

I remember when people all dressed the same and wore clothes that revealed nothing.

I remember when kids rebeled by wearing wild sexy outfits that drove our parents half crazy.

I remember when people took this rebelion to the extreme and for a while it was hard to tell the ACs from the DCs.

I remember when people wore great looking clothes that fit.

I remember when kids started trying to look as ugly and sexless as possible.

I hear there's a trend back to great looking clothes that fit.

It would be nice if the rumours are true.

I first started taking diet pills because after giving birth I was huge and had very low self opinion. To say the truth I was right way desperate and I could not believe my eyes when I saw my very best friend looking 12 lb thinner and totally different from I was used to see looking at her. She took Phentramin-D for 3 months and she was very excited about it. I must admit seeing the pill work for somebody else motivated me even more to try it. I bought Phentramin from 1. I must admit they did get me a bit edgy but I guess it was a small side effect considering I got back to the weight allowing me to fit my before pregnancy clothes. In my opinion the pill really works.

OK – I am going to get on my soapbox for a few minutes because if I don’t get this out I am going to explode!! We have been feeding our beautiful Newfoundland dogs Nutro Lamb and Rice for a few years now. It has been a great food because it does not have any chicken or chicken by product. Pepper, our male Landseer, is severely allergic to chicken. If he even looks at chicken pictures he gets sick – ok maybe that is an exaggeration BUT he is deathly allergic. Over the past 4 month we have noticed that he has been losing a lot of weight. Then he started losing his hair and chewing up his body. He looks emancipated and very near death. W finally looked at the food bag and they have added chicken fat as an ingredient. I still had an older bag and we compared the two lists. Nope – no chicken fat in the older bags. I mean that would be like making pancake mix and suddenly putting peanuts in the mix and not telling anyone. So anyone who loved pancakes and continued to eat them with the peanuts would be dead. How is this even legal. I guess it doesn’t matter since it is just a dog. I was not sure if we could even save Pepper because even his breathing was labored. We switched to Blue Buffalo Lamb and Brown Rice and didn't even mix it so they could get used to it. I wanted all that poison Nutro out of my house. All the dogs love the new food. Pepper is getting his shiny coat back and is gradually gaining weight. He also is not chewing up his body anymore. Blue Buffalo has a guarantee of NO chicken or chicken by product in their food.

For much of the '80s, Paul Young rivaled arists as the top blue-eyed soul/pop singer in the U.K. In America, Young was known primarily for his lone chart-topping cover of Hall & Oates' "Every time You Go Away," but was able to sustain his commercial success at home for much of the decade. He was chiefly an interpretive singer, and although he did write some of his own material, his greatest strengths lay in covering R&B classics and rescuing forgotten chestnuts from obscurity. His debut solo single, "Iron Out the Rough Spots," was released in late 1982, and was followed by a cover of Nicky Thomas' reggae-pop hit "Love of the Common People." Neither single did particularly well on the charts, but his version of the lesser-known Marvin Gaye number "Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)" was a roaring success, topping the U.K. charts and pushing his debut album, No Parlez, to the same position later that year. No Parlez gave Young his first Top 40 hit in the U.S. with the Jack Lee-penned "Come Back and Stay" (a U.K. Top Ten), and also drew attention with its left-field cover of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart." Young mounted an international tour in support of the album, which sold several million copies worldwide; afterwards, however, he suffered the first of numerous throat ailments which would pop up throughout his career.Kept out of action for much of the latter-half of 1984, Young nonetheless made a contribution to the Band Aid "Do They Know It's Christmas?" single, and returned to the U.K. Top Ten with a version of Ann Peebles' "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down." The latter appeared on his sophomore album The Secret of Association, released in 1985. That year, Young scored the biggest hit of his career with "Every time You Go Away," a previously obscure Hall & Oates album track from 1980. "Every Time You Go Away" topped the pop charts in both the U.K. and U.S., ending up as far and away his biggest success in the latter. Young followed it with another U.K. Top Ten hit in the original "Everything Must Change," and watched The Secret of Association become his second U.K. chart-topping album.Young concentrated mostly on original material (co-written with Kewley) on his third album, 1986's Between Two Fires. A slicker, less soul-flavored outing, Between Two Fires sold respectably to Young's U.K. fan base, but didn't produce any major hits, and slowed his momentum somewhat. In its wake, Young took several years off from recording, chiefly for personal reasons but also to rest his voice. He didn't return until 1990, when Other Voices restored his commercial standing with a reading of the Chi-Lites' classic "Oh Girl," his only other U.S. Top Ten. He returned to the U.K. Top Five in 1991 with "Senza Una Donna (Without a Woman)," a duet with Italian pop singer Zucchero that appeared on Young's hits comp From Time to Time: The Singles Collection. In 1992, Young's version of Jimmy Ruffin's "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted" rose from the Fried Green Tomatoes soundtrack to top the U.S. adult contemporary charts, even though it missed the pop Top 20.

There may be an Undisputed II;Undisputed was based on the Mike Tyson "rape conviction"-and Tyson recently won a fight against a photographer.'Undisputed II'
would have a tough act to follow in what I think was some of the best work by Ving Rhames,Wesley Snipes and Peter Falk.A basis for 'Undisputed' was speculation that Tyson had gotten his ass kicked in a prison fight;if II is made,it will be because there is speculation that Tyson got his ass kicked in prison by a photographer.

John F Kennedy JR. was a great man and a good pilot. But on the night that he died, he was very irresponsible. JFK JR. was not licensed to fly at night. A pilot who was licensed to fly at night offered to go with JFK JR. and help him but he turned him down. If that isn't irresponsibility, then I don't know what irresponsibility is.

JFK JR. didn't only get himself killed. His irresponsibility got his wife and his Sister-In-Law killed as well. If you're a pilot who isn't licensed to fly at night, please don't fly at night.
