The purolator pure one has been a consistently high-rated oil filter for many years.It is well built with quality components and it filters smaller particles than most of its competitors.Features a quality non-stick gasket,a quality media cartridge with metal end caps,and a reliable anti-drainback valve that keeps the oil in your filter.I used to be an oilhead 10 years ago,and I dissected a few filters to see how they were built.The pure one was among the better ones I looked at.This filter has alot of media surface area and many pleats,to trap more dirt.Some folks say this may impede oil flow.But after me and a tribologist friend did some flow tests,we did not believe this to be a problem.The newer version even has a grippy material on it to make handling easier.
