I named my son Jeremiah Joseph, both names are out of the bible, I dont heir either one that much. jeremiah can go short by Jay,Jerry Jereym, miah witch i think is a girls name,and joseph can go short as Joe,Joey, Jose, the main reason i named my son jeremiah joseph is becuase if means something to me , joseph comes from his father and my brother who passed but we have to many joseph in the family so we went with jeremiah, but the joseph still there, we just call him Jay most of the time or J J.....

The low rating is for its inclusion on a list of Uncommon Baby Names not because I dislike it, although I do. My daughter is friends with 2 girls named Brooklyn who are her age.

D'ya know what name should be top of the list of uncommon girl names? Donna. There's not one Donna in her entire school and the school goes from kindergarten to grade nine, with a small daycare run out a couple of classrooms to boot.

I dated 3 girls named Donna as a teen/young adult. It wasn't because I liked the name, it's just that it was what most of the woman were called at the time. Some girls even changed their names to Donna just to fit in.
