It's time to grade the giants and see what others have to say. I have worked at the RS off and on for six years while in college. I have been lucky, I have had cool managers. Its all about the phones but getting people set up for custom jobs is also important. There are a lot of cool people in our district and a lot of dush bags. Some stores got it and some don't. I know all the managers that I have worked with and that are still with the co have nice stores.

The business is to corporate now, managers have been robbed control in exchange for a "Turn key" style business model. The associate pay has been cut every year that I have been with them. Thus, the quality of associates has gone down and the RS will go out of business b/c to many dumb-asses work for them. Also, the co has horrible inventory control, they loose at least 30 percent of their potential sales due to lack of product in my experience. Due to manager's lack of inventory control the co is slipping year by year attempting to cut necessary costs such as labor and inventory.

So recently my girflriend and I decided to go with DirecTV over Comcast due to the NFL Sunday ticket we would have got for free for ordering the “Premium Package” of DirecTV. So we call and order it, and was told the only charge was a $21.35 installation charge, that would get refunded the second month of service. So no problem we thought, we ordered the package that got us free NFL Sunday ticket, 2HD recievers, and set the installation for a week later.

The installation went great, the installer company they used were very polite and fast as well as prompt. This is about the only good thing we’ve experienced with DirecTV. Once it was hooked up and we had time to sit down and watch it we noticed we only had the basic package and no NFL Sunday Ticket. We called and was told we’d have to upgrade since we were now customers, and couldn’t get the discount and couldn’t get the free NFL sunday ticket. This had me irrate of course as I love my football, so we just took the Premium package, and figured whatever was on football wise, I’d watch. Sure it was total shit, and horrible customer service, but I like watching TV so whatever I thought. This was the least of our problems though…

Shortly after this we examined our credit card statement, and found that DirecTV charged us $21.35 for the install as discussed, but then charged an additional $220.95! WTFBBQ Our heads about exploded, a completely random $220.95 charge for DirecTV, so we called them and asked that the problem was that we were charged that amount of money. The representative we talked to basically told us to get lost because they didn’t charge $220.95 to our card, but there it is on our statement, we were sitting there staring at it. They said they couldn’t give a refund, because they have no record of the $220.95. Absolutely irate at this point, I told them to just cancel the service and I’ll let my credit card company deal with the over charges. (See screenshots at end of post)

Qwest has the worst billing and customer service EVER. I have been trying to get my bill fixed for six months! I call every month and the loyalty specialist prmisis to fix it but they do nothing! I have spent hours on the phone with these morons! I think the greedy senior management is onl interested in lining thier pockets not running a sucessful company for the long run.

As soon as I get my money I am done with them.

I never shop on black Friday because it isn't worth all the pushing, shoving and rudeness from shoppers and workers. But this year I saw on the news that Wal-Mart was doing something different to help keep down the crowds. They were offering the sales of electronics online and to be shipped to your house for 97 cents. Well was that a crock of BS. I saw a laptop I liked at a great price and clicked on it Thurs. (day before black Friday). It stated that it was out of stock online but when you clicked on it to see more it stated that it was available online and in the store Nov. 27th. So I set my alarm for 12am to see if I could purchase one. Nope, the same note was there. So I was getting up for work at 4:30am and thought I would try again at that time. Nope, the same note was there but you still could not purchase it. I tried again at 5am and 5:30am and still could not purchase it. So on my way to work I figured I would stop in the Wal-Mart store to see if I could purchase one. I saw two managers putting up products so I went right to them to asked where the laptops where. They both gave me the evil eye and said all the laptops are gone. I explained to them about the internet ( anyway tried to) but they told me that I was wrong and explain a whole different thing that I was talking about. I said no that on the news they where stating that you can buy electronics online this year to help cut down on the crowds. They both didn't want to hear what I had to say and blew me off. So off to work I went. After there a few of my co-workers showed up and were telling how they were at Wal-Mart to get some things and the customers were screaming at the management about the laptops. Here to find out loads of customers stood in line for hours in hopes of purchasing a laptop. Well to find out it was all for nothing. Their big sale that they advertised about was for a stock of.... drum roll..... 5 lap tops, yup, isn't that so nice of Wal-Mart. So after I got out of work I decided to call customer service. The first number I called the lady was really rude and stated that she can't help me with the on line part but can file a complaint about the part of what happened in the Wal-Mart store. Long story short after me trying to tell her the whole story that she didn't want to hear she hung up on me. Really professional, huh? Two thumbs down to Wal-Mart.
They are very decieving.

Bought a Cell phone. It was DOA. It looked like it had been returned/used. Cables unwrapped battery opened/used. Circuit City had no return for cell phones, had to send it to Florida company. At this point I am feeling Ripped Off! Stay-Away for these shysters ~!
