If and when I can afford it, I usually stick to Jim Beam. After being on a Jim Beam kick, I finally bought some Wild Turkey, and I was amazed at that!
So I decided one day to buy some Old Gran Dad, and I expected a good bourbon. I found myself thoroughly disappointed, and the price definitely didn't justify the only slightly better taste than Jim Beam. If i have no money, im sticking to Jim Beam, If i do have money, I'm going straight for the Turkey.
