This machine is great! It has helped many people, I hear the reviews every day in my line of work...i am also the owner of one, i have had my machine for years now and have never encountered a moments problem with it. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional.

Once you veer "off topic" from the product itself (which is amazing) and start in on those personal lives of employees and past bosses...you run the risk of legal battles. This website along with the slander and harrassing accusations (which are untrue) involving staff and personal lives are being investigated at this moment and are also being looked at by a lawyer. If you disagree with the product itself, fine....everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but stick to the product itself. It is not only unfair to utter slander when it is not true, but it is also illegal.

I bought a Mr. Coffee 12 cup coffee maker, model CG13, at the end of January 2010. I have not been happy.
1. The way the water flows into the basket where the coffee is frequently causes the filter to fold in onto itself. Lots of coffee grounds then get into the coffee.
2. Even when the coffee maker works properly, it seems to me that the coffee is bitter. When I make coffee at work on the Bunn coffee maker there, I don’t get any bitterness.
3. I don’t like the way the entire top opens at once. Not only does that mean that the coffee maker must be pulled out from under the cabinet where it sits further than coffee makers that have smaller tops, it also means that it is possible to spill coffee into the water reservoir as coffee is being loaded into the basket.

I do not recommend this coffee maker.

Double failure, twice

How's that for redundant? Not really. In 2006 we had a new KitchenAid double wall oven installed. It was noisy (fan) and after two technician visits and more than a year later, it was found to have broken glass inside the oven walls. The dealer replaced the original oven (after we contacted the Better Business Bureau). The new oven was just as noisy, if not worse at times. After the second year with this oven it failed to self-clean. The KitchenAid repair people in our area replaced, at our cost, the overheat sensor (this shuts the oven off if it gets too hot). At the very next cleaning the sensor failed again. The oven had been quiet up until then, and we suspect the fan finally failed, causing the oven to overheat during cleaning. Better than burning down the house, I guess. No more KitchenAid ever, we're shopping for a Dacor (our first choice, originally).

I own a GE Profile Dishwasher, stainless steel inside and out. Spent approx. $1200.00. I bought this dishwasher 4 years ago. This weekend I had a load of dishes running, thank goodness I happened to be in the kitchen when black smoke came billowing out of the top of the door of the dishwasher. All the electrical components inside are melted and fried. I jusut had an authorized GE reapairman come out and he could not locate all the parts needed to fix the dishwasher. He called GE while here and they told him that they do not sell relpacement wiring harnesses (the place the electrical fire started) so the dishwasher is unfixable. It is no longer under warranty either and not one of the MANY dishwashers that were recalled due to fire hazards. I am waiting to hear back from GE to see what the plan on doing about this. The repairman said he has seen this and they usually offer some kind of monetary settlement. He said not to expect a lot though. I expect a significant amount since I spent a significant amount of money on what I thought was a top of the line dishwasher. After researching all the recalls GE has had, I will not purchase another dishwasher from GE.

DON'T BOTHER BUYING ANY GE PROFILE APPLIANCES!
We hate the dishwasher - as in previous reviews, the dishes don't get clean, the soap cup dispenser doesn't work well and the racks were shot the first year we owned it!

Today I was trying to clean my self-cleaning ovens and the lower one started to spark and catch fire - luckily I started it during the day instead of at night as I usually do! They NEVER clean thoroughly and I always end up having to us cleaner and elbow grease to get the oven totally clean!

And last, but not least, after only 3 YEARS, we had to replace the microwave to the tune of $800.00!

We will NEVER recommend OR purchase ANY GE PRODUCTS again! BTW all of these appliances are only 3 1/2 years old - we have a new house!
