Big shout out to Ryan and the awesome folks at Bumper Doc Auto Body Repair! Very courteous, honest, professional, friendly but most importantly, competent staff. That is why we we fork over our hard earned money for, right?
I spent the better part of the morning calling around to see if anyone did headlight restoration. I just bought a used car that was in great shape but however, had headlights that had seen better days. They were cloudy and looked as if someone slapped bacon grease across the surface. Ew. Many of the businesses we called didn't want to give us the time of day. Or had about as much knowledge as "is this chicken or fish?" Jessica Simpson. Almost all of them were pretty rude and abrupt on the phone which was very frustrating to say the least.
But thanks to the wonderful folks at Yelp, I found this absolute gem of a business that saved the day. Ryan answered the phone when my hubby called and was not only helpful, but very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all the questions we had. When we arrived, they greeted us warmly, offered us sodas, gave us a quick estimate and went to work. Only one hour went by as promised and now my headlights look brand new, clear, with not a trace of cloudiness. Nice work! I had no idea they also offered (aside from bumper repair) pin stripe removal, detailing, rim repair---you name it, they fix it. Yet they didn't try to push a million different services on us or give us ridiculous pricing which was a refreshing contrast to other auto body shops we had frequented in the past.
I wish we would've gone here first to get our previous car tinted vs. the ghetto fabulous place we took it to originally. The chick that worked there was bumping the uncensored version of 50 Cent's "I Get Money" in her pimped out van, rapping loudly and dropping f-bombs and all in front of parents with their kids that were waiting to get their windows done. Classy. I guess you get what you pay for.
