Walter and Roy Byrd were hired to do a new roof. They started the job, "No Problem" they said! After the second day and 90% done they asked to be paid. I paid them about 90% and they said they would be back in a day to finish the back porch and complete the clean-up. Now two weeks latter and three phone calls a day, they no longer answer the phone. I would NEVER hire them to do anything!

I work for Sitel in Memphis, Tn for 3 months.. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE, to work there either. First let me start by saying, I was in training for 4wks.. Everything I was learning, we were not going to use when we actually start taking calls.. So I asked my coach, why are we learning something that we're not going to even use & he said it's always good to learn the back ways.. HUH... So after being trained for 4 weeks, I was only trained on the phones for 1 day, then I was on my own.. So when I had questions I had to ask my new coach, she didn't know anything because she was asking her employees to help her out.. WHERE THEY DO DAT @!! I've heard a lot of complaints about Sitel, but I didn't think it was this unorganized.. It's very unprofessional.. The coaches don't know anything.. They talk to you like your a child & the women in there dress like they're on there way to club Senses.. I guess it's true what they say, white people can run a business much better than us.. But most of all I hate when you come to work & they send you home everyday due to the fact the calls are slow.. WHO DOES THAT?!!.. You can not make a career out of Sitel.. Sitel is a GHETTO, unorganized club!! I strongly suggest if you decide to work for Sitel, be prepared to teach yourself because you want learn your ABC'S @ that place.. They don't do background checks, so you could be sitting beside a murderer!!.. The president should consider closing sitel until he/she get some professional coaches, managers, supervisors, & most of all professional employees in that place!!

Vance Boyd Antiques was known, like its owner, for elegance and taste. Unequaled as the place to go for that special piece of furniture or for truly memorable gifts. Vance Boyd Antiques, a Memphis institution, is sadly no longer open.

Signed,
A Memphis Native

Although Vance Boyd Antiques on Cooper is closed, fear not! You
can still find antiques which Vance Boyd himself has collected at both
La Maison and Palladio, in Memphis. At this time, some of these wonders
can even be viewed on the Palladio website. Memphis Native was remiss
in not telling you this the first time around. Please forgive.
