About drbobwill - Male
Age 73. Just left the WA State Veterans Home (Retsil, WA, almost part of Port Orchard, across from Bremerton.) Came back to Olympia, WA, where I had taught education classes at St. Martin's (Lacey,WA).
Among my interests: Artificial Intelligence, Genomics, Nanotechnology (please don't ask what these mean, but do your own research and find out what may be happening between now and say, 2050. Pickover and Kurzweil are two people whose work is both fascinating and important.
My interest in classical music ranges from Hildegard von Bingen (who was not at all known back in the 1950s when I was taking a course in Music Appreciation at UC Berkeley) on through Gesualdo through Bach,Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Mussorgsky, Mahler, and about a zillion others (I could name a dozen dozen more) and I have not even mentioned chamber music, opera, orchestral, piano (which was my instrument).
My doctorate is NOT in music, but I do have one in Education.
