I know that Jimmy Carter didn't inspire people, but if we'd have listned to him, all of this stress would be behind us. Reagan took the solar panels off of the Whitehouse. Why??????

How many dollars a gallon do we have to pay before we realize that Fossil Fuel is heading the way of Dinosaurs?

In the end no goverment program, no president, King or miracle worker from Green Peace is going to develop squat- the free market will. The free market will develop a product that the people of the world find more reliable and suitable to their needs and demand will increase. The increased purchases of the new source of energy will further its expansion and experimentation squeezing crude oil out of the market. This will take a while but it will happen. Right now however there is nothing wrong with crude oil. There are plenty of reserves for years to come and recent studies in some journals show that they are constantly being created and will never run out. (Dependence on crude is another very important issue that I have previously written about.)

Well, okay. It would take a real leader to do this? Like the hundreds of scientists we currently have working on this is nothing, but a real leader would find them. Okay. Bush isn't a real leader ? Clinton? Gore?

I agree, but don't think for a minute that they haven't been trying to do this for years.
