Good old Phil

I can only think of two songs from them that are worth mentioning, "Jailbreak" & "The Boys Are Back in Town". Their version of "Whiskey in the Jar" sucks, as well as the rest of their catalog.

The greatest band of all time. Phil Lynott was the most brilliant frontman rock has never seen, and all the members (particularly Gary Moore) were talented enough to make the band worthy of being taken seriously. They didn't take themselves massively seriously, and their sound ranged from majestic bluesy epics like Still In Love With You, funky beasts like S&M and balls-out rockers like 'The Rocker'. They are unsurpassed.
