I think ESPN boxing has improved since Kellerman left;Brian Kenny knows his stuff-and he doesn't beat you over the head with it(no pun intended-Kellerman's brother Sam Kellerman was murdered by ex-boxer James Butler).

He can be entertaining but his excitable approach to commentating doesn't always agree with me. He has a fair amount of knowledge and does his research. It's more a matter of styles for me.

For someone who never boxed as is so young, I am impressed by the knowledge that Max Kellerman has for boxing in terms of the technical aspects of the actual fighting in the ring and even more so in terms as him being a historian of the sport.
