Didn't he tell Adam & Eve they'd "die" if they ate the apple? I admit they DID,eventually,but it sure took a loooong time.It's debatable.

The dealings between man and God are filled with deception, but 100% of that is people decieving themselves. God won't decieve us and we can't decieve Him.

But he can send lieing spirits, and he allows angels in heaven to lie. God allows a great deal of deception, of course - the opposite would be like forcing us to look at a Light when we aren't ready, which is as damaging as deception.
