Who's to say?As one of the Chosen People, let me help to put your minds at ease. If he doesn't answer your prayers, show a little forgiveness, okay? This is one busy dude. He's got 100's of billions of galaxies...each with 100's of billions of stars...and new stars every day. He's dodging gamma bursts, comets and now...space junk. There's intergalactic wars and when he's fooled by the Dark Side, he's been known to step into a black hole or two. He spends some time, but not nearly enough, trying to fix the platypus. And the expansion! He has to constantly keep moving his "End of the Universe" signs further and further away. And let's not forget about Mrs. God, who's always on his back to do something about all that dust.Oy vey! All. That. Dust! And if you think that he should take time to answer your prayers, just remember this little story: I spent some time up on the Second Mesa at Hopi and attended their high holy ceremony, Niman, where the Katchinas end their six months of dancing for rain. A young Hopi girl told me that it always works..."if you dance until it rains"...So, keep dancing...

Interesting list. God can do what ever he wants, no?

I know I'm not considered to be much a Christian by the hard core types on here, but this whole list gives me the impression that God works on the clock, with some serious asshole of a boss kicking his butt.

I'm amazed at how many people say that God answers all prayers. I don't know where they get that, but it certainly is not from the Bible.1. God does not hear the prayers of sinners/unrighteous (specifically, those outside of Christ) (John 9:31; 1 Pet. 3:12; Psm. 66:18; Isa. 59:2).2. And even when He hears our prayers, sometimes he doesn't answer them because: A. Lack of faith (Jas. 1:5-8; Mark 11:24). B. We ask amiss (wrong intent) (Jas. 4:1-3). C. Lacking forgiveness for others (Mark 11:25-26; Matt. 6:14,15). D. Praying for show (Matt. 6:5-6).And there are other references I could give.

You have to suspend time for this one... I'm still waiting on getting raped by Vanessa Williams at a Moby Grape concert.

He answers all prayers, but sometimes He says no.

There is no such a thing as inane or irrelevant prayer. A prayer is a prayer, and all are answered, one way or the other. Ignoring a prayer would be discrimination, and God plays no favorites. Before Him, all, sinners and saints are equal. The misconception is that a prayer is answered when done according to the desire of the person who prays it. However, God answers prayers with a "yes", "no" or "not yet". But He answers them ALL.

If the prayer is inane or irrelevant, then God can and will ignore it, surely?
