 | CanadaSucks (50) 07/01/2008 | Good listing. I don't always agree with Ebert but found his show in the 80's and 90's endearing and his online reviews worthy of notice. Solid if unspectacular reviewer.

 | GenghisTheHun (177) 04/21/2008 | I watched Ebert when he was with Siskel religiously at the end of the 1970's when they were on PBS and after they moved to commercial television. I always enjoyed their point, counterpoint, and I always respected Ebert as well as Siskel, even when I didn't agree. I wish Ebert was back on the tube.

Was also to write a screenplay with Russ Meyer in collaboration with the Sex Pistols before that fell apart. I often disagree with Ebert, and yet, besides being highly intelligent, witty and articulate, he's got a great passion for film (as attested to by some of his exchanges with long-time associate Gene Siskel that were extremely heated and acrimonious) and great heart. I miss him on the TV, hope his health is improving, and wish him all the best.
