my local skate-shoop owner is always ranting on about how these boards are made in china and how bad they are and shit and he's always like "I got some new bam shirts in I saved a couple for you boys" with a big smile on his face cos we all know that elements a fucking joke. Muska though, and huston, darreal and tave are fucking "a" but that doesnt make the boards any better but bam some how makes them worse

i dont know if elements are good because i never tried and element. but i do know that Bam is totally awsome

These decks are very very heavy, but i also had royal trucks, and the over all weight just went up. The grind down quite quickly and get razor tail in a few weeks. The have literally no pop, no concave, and chip a ridiculous amount. Good for boardslides and stuff but are overall quite a bad deck. Element should stick to clothing and stickers. DO NOT BUY THIS DECK

Elements are good boards.  People need to stop hating on them for no reason.  I've had two.  A regular 7-ply Element Deck, and a Featherlight Deck.  Both were good decks.  The first board was durable as crap.  I abused it like a motherfucker, but it never broke, I just got a new one.  I hung it up on my wall.  The second deck, the featherlight, is light as crap, with good flipability.  Not a ton of pop,  but a good amount.  One of my favorite skateboard companies.  They also have a good team, and I like most of their clothing products and skating accessories.

Ok, to tell you the truth, these boards didn't do it for me. I'm not going to bash them, but these boards really had no concave and pop. My first was a Cole Cannon Feather Light deck. It really sucked, but I had no idea back then, so I was pretty hyped on it. Then I got a Baker. Now THAT is a skateboard. That thing had more pop then a zit on Shaune White's face... not that i'd know. Then, unfortunetly, my parents got me ANOTHER element board for christmas. It was a Bam Dark Room deck, and I gotta say, I really hate that peice of crap. It was flatter than a 10 year old girl, and it barely had any pop. But of coarse, it was lighter than... i'd say 30% of other decks out there in the market. And the 30% of the boards are either long boards or made out out of metal. But their graphics are cool, I'll give them that. And they've become very popular in the market. But they suck, period.

horrible boards..... they chip so nasty..... i remember i got one.... and i was skating it for a  week and then i went for an inward and it landed bottom up... wen i looked at it, one of the layers from the nose came offf all the way to the bolts.... other than that there ok.... nasty pop to... it goes a way really fast but they r light so 2 stars

Eh I dont really care for them at all.. Kinda a poser board.. But I didn't like weight ethier.. my second board.. I guess I was stupid.. but hey you gotta try stuff to know what you like.

most fiberlight and pro boards arn't completely terrible but i still dont lik em, but the thriftwood boards are sooo bad no pop or concave, chip easy, all around suck don't buy, my preference is Sugar skateboard but they don't carry those most places, to get em you either have to go to california were they are made or morgantown WV (lol)

these decks where ok in the begining of skate baording but not really any more they have bad flip and not really the best shape ok pop i dont know i haven't really skated 1 but still there ok  for beginners

i got an element for my birthday and i like it as much as my zero. it has no cracks or anything yet. they have great pop

They are the worst boards ever. I would buy a walmart board before buying another element. They have no pop and the flip stinks so dont ever buy one

Hahaa Now let's see : Element decks - Suck , because the boards shape disapperas in a few days and they crack very easy and so on.The boards shapes suck too. Element wheels - I bought Element 50mm Tosh Blocks.They feel good and in 1 month they haven't gotten any smaller.They are little and hard.My tre flips are much better.Oh and light too. Element grip tape - I bought the Bam Margera bat grip tape , because there wasn't any other in my local skateshop.For now the colour hasn't come off and thegrip grips very nice too.I am beginning to like this grip:D So I'd give a 4 to Element company although the decks suck

element is ok very nice pop but most will last for about 6 months if your care full. If you insist on getting a Element get a ELEMENT MIKE V FLICKER DECK because I'v had that 4 a little over 4 months and the pop is still clean and it is not broken. OR get an Almost deck a litte heavier but very studry. If you are looking for a board that will last get Almost. period.  Bam sucks hes a wanna be skater, if u get a board with his name on it people will call u a poser. But element is good. If u want to be a good skater go to elemrnt skate camp it rules.

as much as i dislike mainstream they are a good deck company. no problem with any of the decks. buy one i recommend it but not cuz bams name is on it... cuz theyre good decks

first deck i got, dont even rember if it was a pro modle it had a bat hanging off of a tree thats all i rember, its a good beginner deck, i mean c'mon who hasnt rode an element??? pops ok flips ok slides ok there nothing speical the only up side is u can buy an element virtualy anywhere so when ur just starting off dont go buy some deck with prefrences you dotn even uunderstand yet, just get something average then when u can land an acual trick get suttin good oh and iv had mine for about 4 months b4 all the pop was gone. there a beginner deck, give them a break

i got a bam deck. it was unreal at first, but once it started wearing in, it lost all pop and flip. all in all, it was a bit shit.

element boards are the worst dude,they have no flip,pop, or concave. I would rather skate a Blind deck than this krap. Flip boards are the way to go

element is horrible i have now broke 2 decks in two weeks. first i had a bam deck and it had pretty good pop but broke to fast. so i got a helium and it broke two days after i got it. and it had absolutely no pop. i do not understand why every one likes element. plan b is the way to go!

I have the Tosh Science Helium and it is AWESOME !!! It has great pop and just the right amount of concave for any skaters needs. What is unique about this board is that the tail is kind of square but it helps because you dont get tail bite as bad. This board has been through hell and back and still hasn't cracked. It has some pressure cracks but thats because i dont use risers. The shape is amazing. I have barely chiped the nose or tail any and I have been skating everyday and I have had it since around November of 2006. The ELEMENT decks do have there disadvantages like; some decks are heavy, some are really flimsy so when shopping for an ELEMENT deck look for the sturdyness the lightness of the deck, and there tons of different sizes so make sure that you get the right size. I'd look for a HELUIM, FIBERLIGHT, or FEATHERLIGHT they are the best decks made by ELEMENT. Overall this board is a must buy and the good thing is that I got it on clearence at www.ccs.com for $40.00 . ELEMENT is one of the best companies it is right next to ZOO YORK.

i know many people think that people who skate element are posers but u got to start somewhere. but i wouldnt skate anything w/ bam's name on it. ive been skatin for a year or so and i made the mistake of starting out w/ a heavy board. i tried a kick flip on my friend's element and the board went almost as high as my knees!it has great pop and someone owned the board before him so it lasts long.

i had a fiberlight and it was sick. it had nice pop until i left it in the garage and it rained. idk then it just sucked lost all pop and i chipped the nose doing a kickflip. so overall buy element.

elements are a good board and easy to find

i have been skating for 15 years now and i decided to get a fiberlite and it is the brst board ever it has great pop and concave and it lasted me 2 years!

I got a fiberlight and it had lots and lots of pop and it was very light. And not to mention its easy fliping. If it feels weird like when you jump on it and the board bends a little thats ok. I still have my fiberlight and the tail is a little chiped and it lost a very little amont of pop but it still is holding up

Worst Boards they brake like so easy i have a friend and he broke 3 in 1 year. I myself am on my 3rd and its aout to brake. If u really want 1 get a fiberlight they brake easy but are pretty good. But instead get a Santa Cruz if you like light boards get the Dantes its 7.6x31.5.

these boards are great for street i loved mine ive had it for almost a month, and it hasnt chipped at all. it has great pop good concave but, the company is overrated.
