Once again, I'd like to thank all the folks that made this award possible. I appreciate your support.

Now f*** off, I got work to do.

This item having been up a while, I must express my profound disappointment that my extensive body of work in this category can't get me any higher on this list than seventh..... Maybe if I became a Yankee fan...

Finally, just to give some color color to the list item, I took the liberty of adding an Irishman who was a lot more offensive than I can ever hope to be.

Nah, he's not offensive and if he is then people just need to lighten up

No more offensive that a baseball fan, sitting in the cheap seats, minding his own business while balancing his dog and beer on a slow day and with 1000's of seats available and some guy sits right down behind him to take his first violin lesson...and asks him to stop 800 times before running out of patience...

I think if he does offend anyone, they should learn to take him less seriously. Irish is a decent fellow.
Oh, and they probably shouldn't piss him off either, that might earn them a crock o' gold to the head, eh...

Offensive? If so, surely we need to redefine the word. Opinionated? For sure, but considering that this is supposed to be an "opinion" website, isn't that a virtue? Do we really need a reviewer like...I dunno..."LukewarmFromBoise" whose opinion on every topic runs along the lines of..."Well, whatever you guys think...whatever the majority opinion is...that's ok with me too. Yeah, now that you mention it, Obama does rhyme with Osama, doesn't it? And, yeah, that also sounds right...better to fight over there so we don't have to fight over here or...ah, something like that. Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Whatever. Count me in." Those who challenge him without too much thought and too much belligerency do tend to get verbally eviscerated...in other words, he doesn't suffer fools gladly, but I've never seen him respond offensively to those who challenge him in a reasonable, non-junkyard-dog manner. Most of the reviewers on this list-- Irishgit, Oscargamblesfro, GenghisTheHun, etc.-- tend to be the site's most articulate and intelligent commentators, and if that's what's meant by "offensive", then we need more offense and provocation.

Surely we are all fore-warned by the fact that he is called "irishGIT" I mean if he were perfectly tame he'd be called "irishguy" therefore seeing as we were warned by his name, you can't be allowed to consider him properly offensive.

Not to me, but, boy, wouldn't I like to be awarded this kind of notoriety. Truck on, irish.

Irishgit is offensive, but I just misundersttod him last time. He didn't intend to offend me, but was just trying to socialized with me. Sometimes to use offensive words to your colleagues can also mean trust, and love among the friends?...let's not just condemn our ria friends. We are a community, just like I play and poke funs at Genghis, anyway...and Numbah occasionally, yet they don't take it seriously, because they know that, I'm not that serious.

No, not offensive at all. Most often, he assumes the mantle of the bemused observer, the reasonable narrator looking in, and offering pithy observations on the heated discourse around certain topics, without soiling his hands too much.

The git is one of a few names I actually remember here. He is very offensive- to small minded twerps with no education.

It's like this---The man is not worried about who he offends, what he says, and does here at RIA. I am not taken in by his so called humor, I don't care if he has 3000 trusted, don't mean nothing to me--Yawns..

Nah, I wouldn't call him offensive. If speaking up your beliefs is offensive, then why are we even wasting our time here.

For the record, the pied piper's first job was to rid the town of rats and it was when he got stiffed on his bill that all hell broke loose.

Or maybe the reference was to the Pie-eyed piper, who used to sit in with the Pogues from time to time.

I don't think Irish is offensive at all. He will stand up for himself when someone tries to back him in a corner but that is not offensive. I will do the same. He may say somethings that I disagree with when it comes to faith but I believe I understand where he is coming from so I am not offended.

He seems to delight in offending especially Christians or anything that has to do with Christianity.
