Powell boards are great, because they have been around for a long time and have established themselves as the "skater's company". They constantly emphasize that it's not all about pros in video's, but just about having fun. They also have a full manufacturer's warranty to go along with it all.

Good quality skateboards. Variety of designs and shapes. Well known company.

It's like the people's board. They've been around for hella long, and they have a lifetime warranty. You know they are good. Most of my homeboys use Powell and I'm about to invest in one too.

I am on a Powell right now. It is pretty good. The best thing about Powell's are that they have a super slick paint job without putting a polyurethane coating on it. It has been keeping it's pop so far. Powell, the company, is also very customer friendly. If the board breaks for any reason, they usually replace it.

Been around forever. Represented the pioneers of the sports. Still have strong riders. Cheap boards too.

Powell makes great equipment and has been around since the beginning. They also sponsored my friend and he said they treated him well.

The decks are okay. Wheels last a long time and the bearings are slick.

Powell Peralta is one of the best boards made in skating. Powell has been around before the 80's. At one oint in time Powell had the best skaters on his label. Who were Tony Hawk, Steve Cabellero, Tommy Guerrero, Lance Mountain, and Mike McGill? These skaters represented the best skate team in history.

I used to own a Swamp style skateboard, but when I got my Powell a couple of years ago I was in heaven. The trucks fit great - it was a concave board of course, and I enjoyed it. I did the best riding on this board - it's shape was good and the board lasted me quite a long time. A very, very good board, though it ended up breaking eventually.

I used to ride Powell boards back in the 80's and 90's. They weren't that great then, but I hear they're better now. I like their bearings.
