I read this as meaning, "Folks who aren't goofing around and who can be trusted to say what they mean in relatively plain English.'
UPDATE:

The number of those who 'trust' me just went from 39 to 38 and I can't remember who's missing. Could be someone who decided not to 'trust' me anymore? Could be someone lost their account? I'm curious to know.

Maybe not the most accurate description of how it is usually used, but it works.

It wouldn't be bad if it stayed as it is right now.

I think we can all agree that a trusted network can mean different things to different people, thats what I like about it.

I think trusted is just fine. I am still waiting for that 4th button.

I don't really see anything wrong with trusted network. I agree that it isn't necessarily based on trust but I do trust that the person and I agree somewhat

I don't necessarily add people to my river because I trust them. I add them because I find their writing interesting.

I don't really have a problem with Trusted Network.

After looking at some of the other suggestions, I think that the Trusted Network isn't that bad a name. I'd like to think that it implies a person trusts your reviews. That is regardless of what your view may be on a subject, that they appreciate how you express yourself here on Rateitall.

How about "The Usual Suspects".
