In 99% of cases its just one driver getting his boxers in a bunch and yelling at the other from the silent confines of the cabin of his vehicle while his blood pressure rises. Typically the other driver is completely oblivious to the offence and continues on with their day. Occassionally it boils over and heated words are exchanged which are rarely satisfying to either party. Very rarely it results in a physical altercation and the instigating party should be removed from the road with a long and strict driving suspension imposed as a penalty.

Scarlet, I understand your impulse to respond, you don't like to take crap from people, I'm the same way. Here in Detroit, tempers are thin, and I insist Mrs. Wise and my daughters do not react to others on the road, I don't do it any longer. Heaven forbid we happen to run into some nut who just had the worst day of his life and decides he's going to take it out on somebody.

Stupid crap, but I did get a chuckle out of some idiot running a red and making a highly illegal turn to escape from a really big dude that he thought it fun to taunt. Maybe that guy will think before he starts static with other drivers in the future, huh?

Not sure how to rate this one cuz who likes road rage right? The funny thing is it's not just someone cutting you off and you being pissed, road rage can come about for many different reasons. Stuck in gridlock traffic, car not working properly as you drive, getting lost etc. Frankly it's part of driving although a lousy part. I remember one time I was stuck in traffic on the New England thruway and I had to pee so bad I thought it was going to come out of my tear ducts. It got so bad I had 2 choices, either pee my pants or run to the side of the road and go in the bushes. I chose choice 2 since I wasn't wearing diapers! A couple of people yelled at me for leaving my vehicle but the traffic wasn't going anywhere and frankly I had to go so bad that after I finished urinating I got a sort of blissfulness that I likened to an orgasm!! : )

can be very dangerous since road rage involves heavy vehicles. it gets awful maddening out there. sometimes i feel like i am damn lucky to make it home. try to be careful not to show how much some idiots tick me off. people have been killed over road rage. I joke though that i am in big trouble if anyone reads my lips. scary to think that someone would actually use their vehicle to hurt someone else on purpose.

How can anyone fight over road rage? Road rage is the catalyst of a fight, but one can be raging and not allow it to manifest itself. And those who allow it, always get hurt one way or the other. You always need at least two to get into a fight. If you refuse to be one, then there is no fight.

Road rage is pretty prevalent down here, since South Carolina has the worst drivers in the nation, in my opinion. I get into the spirit myself sometimes, and I have flipped people off.

Has gotten out of hand now a days. Be carefull next time you decide to flick someone off when they cut you off. People are gettin' shot over that now days.
