I think broccoli's ok if it's in a cheese sauce. Plus, if it's overcooked, you might as well forget about eating it for health benefits because all the vitamins have been cooked out of it. And before anybody says cheese sauce is unhealthy, if you use it in moderation, as anything else, there should be no problem.

Broccoli is probably my favorite cooked vegetable. Great with salt, pepper, and maybe a little bit of butter, no cheese sauce.
