A little pricy and yes, the portions are a little on the small side. But in their defense, the portion sizes these days are WAY too large. The food is high quality and has a lot of options. I particularly loved their Iced Green Tea and Mango Smoothie. Their quiches that they sell in the morning are to die for! The first time I had them, I was craving them all of the time and went there for breakfast for almost a month. I've never been disappointed by anything I ate there. The dining areas are also really cozy. A good place to take a good friend for a casual lunch with a good atmosphere.

Panera is what I would consider somewhat upscale for fast food - and I question that it's legitimately fast food at all. It's no longer on my route to work but I use to love stopping by for a bagel (or a dozen for the office), coffee or one of their delicious breakfast sandwiches. Very nice bakery and excellent bread. I'm pretty sure that the Wisconsin sharp white cheddar cheese is the key to the great breakfast sandwich...but, whatever it is - this has to be one of the freshest and best sandwiches available.

I really like Panera. It can be expensive, but I've realized that it's often no more expensive than eating at Wendy's or Arby's. And I've never left hungry. The quality is consistent from restaurant to restaurant. My favorite sandwiches are the Sierra Turkey, Asiago Roast Beef, and Tomato and Mozzarella Panini. The soups are also good, with about 5 or 6 choices available each day, including low fat chicken noodle and vegetarian black bean. Some menu items, such as certain soups and salads, are seasonal. The bakery items are generally excellent. The cookies are great, but the brownies are nothing special. The muffins are delicious, especially the pumpkin muffins. The bagels are great and are only a dollar and some change. However, as soon as something runs out in the bakery, it is gone and more items are not put out.

Would give it 5 stars if someone didn't get shot at Paneras 3 months ago. But other than that, I find Paneras to be very good, but I don't know about the price. Very good food, though.

Tiny portions for outrageously expensive prices. It's the Starbucks of food chains.

They do have good sandwiches, but they're overpriced.

THE BEST Sandwich shop I have ever come by. It is one of my favorite places to eat but they don't have one here in Idaho. EXCELLENT food but semi over priced but well worth it for quality high end sandwiches

Good bread, decent soup, healthier than most places, overall not bad.

I've had a few of their sandwiches and bagels, both of which were pretty good. The bagels were probably the best "corprate" produced I've ever had.

This place is just ok. However, if you are planning on bringing the whole office a treat one day, this place has something for everyone.

too many kids w/laptops doing their homework at Panera. Plus they got rid of the Crispani. How can I break this news to Ricky Schroeder? I'm talking to you Panera

Great soup/salad lunch place. . .it's above fast-food fare and a nice change of pace.

A good place to stop at for a good quality sandwich. Good service and they sell Jones sodas. However, it is nothing too out of the ordinary.
