The flavors they offer are mild and substantially less medicine-tasting than others, they work well at giving a 'cooling' sensation to the throat, and they aren't caustic the way others are (meaning if you fall asleep with one in your mouth, it won't feel like it's burning a hole in your cheek).

 | Frank15 (0) 06/06/2001 | Another sore-throat drop, but unlike the name says, they aren't very "nice." First off, they taste worse than most other throat losenges (Sucrets, Halls, Luden's), but the really bad thing about N'Ice is that they simply do not work. These things do not make my throat feel any better after sucking on one, the total opposite of Sucrets (which might work too well). N'Ice aren't very nice, are they now?

 | callmetootie (5) 04/08/2001 | N Ice sounds like a pretty lousy cold or flu remedie, but it really, really works. It has a nice minty flavor, and it soothes your throat creating a sort of invisible shell, which soothes it and it feels nice and refreshed and you feel a lot better.
